However dodging those heart options in dialogues isn't easy. I accidentally pressed the first heart option on Cullen, but somehow managed to keep it from going weirder. 

 

(Non-romance) review of companions:

 

- Solas: Polite and moderate. Good company.

- The Iron Bull: An annoying beast with lots of sexual jokes. Nuff said.

- Varric: Cool and funny. Good company.

- Cassandra: Wise and strong willed and has good attitudes.

- Vivienne: Proud and aristocratic? I haven't take him to important missions.

- Other companions are locked.

 

Question: I chose to get the help of Templars and all that Jazz. So I won't take that Tevinter Mustache Companion anymore?

You will get "Tevinter Moustache Companion" regardless of your faction.  He's a mandatory recruit.

You get a shot at getting all the companions no matter which path you take in the main story.
