this guy is able to get unlimited fade cloaks, i heard there might be something you could do with flashpoint to make this happen

or is this guy cheating?

Exploiting a glitch in the system.  Someone made a post about it before, and ive seen it in action in a pug.  Not impressed if I see anyone using it.

Patch notes hinted that they fixed this. Guess not. All you do is wait on a flashpoint then spam fade cloak. To me, that's not an exploit. Just a really bad loop in the code. I think it's the result of spells not consuming mana or activating a cooldown until they deal damage. Just a guess.
Oh ya, you need to be host. If another elementalist (maybe any mage) is there they can "steal" your flashpoint. Another bug that's sharing buffs between players.

There's bug that rogues can exploit to get stealth that is semi-permanent, as well. It will last until you take an action that would normally break stealth, but it won't ever hit any natural duration limit.

Which is of dubious usefulness in MP, but it's very useful in SP.

I found another cheater who seems to be able to 'play dead' and come back from the Fade. Given how much time he spends in the fade it's not surprising he would find such an exploit. Its a great leaching tactic for him nonetheless

Do they even do anything about cheaters?  I'm guessing no.  The support for DAMP is seriously lacking in all departments (as we all know).

Skills are client side with no server check. I've made a post about someone running full draw archer none stop on perilous. Saw it happen yesterday With hidden blade also on every thing in zone 5.

Saw the same person again this morning soloing perilous with an assassin. Stealth hidden blade rince repeat back to back.

I'm pretty sure someone figured out a memory freeze cheat same as single player cheats but for multiplayer.

As far as I'm c concerned damp has a file check system but no other anti cheat check like punkbuster or vac anti cheat. Basically it does not check your memory or scan your drive for cheats.

I would label him as a very cheap player, that is all.
As far as I know Bioware hasn't stated that Flashpoint+Fade Cloak exploit would result in bans or whatever. In fact it is preferable they fix it instead of banning people. for taking advantage of an in-game fault.

It's not cheating...it's just a flashpoint/fade cloak glitch that allows infinite 1000% damage spam + invul...no big deal, LOL. It's actually not hard to do, it just starts happening once you crit and as long as you mash fade cloak it keeps going.

Yea, i posted videos about it before.

There's also a bug in private games to level up super quick and another one that allows any class' weapon do the same damage as a two-handed warrior weapon.
