It's the literal objectification of the female form that I dislike. When I started this thread I knew there would be plenty of people who think that's fantastic and possibly gamergate style responses. Thanks to all those people for proving my point about why the casual objectification of women is a problem.

I think it comes to naked figures being used a lot as decorations. Paintings, statues, figureheads in boats and other places.

 

It might be nice to have some weapons with naked male figures as well. What if I want to pick manly name for my staff and the figure is woman? XD

I'm neither religious nor conservative, not that it matters. And it's not about naked bodies in general, I have no problem with the sex scenes and whatnot. It's the literal objectification of the female form that I dislike. On it being Andraste, that works for the Archon staff but not the Sten grip. Qunari don't follow Andraste so there isn't any good lore based justification there.

It is, if we're discussing it as "morals in general" and not picking apart and analysing everything separately.

 

Let's just say that problem behind two is same and equal representation of sexes would help alot in both.

 

I don't think killing nameless people can be taken away from video games. I mean you can make backstories for every person that comes against your character but I doubt people want that and it would make video games cluttered with unneeded information.
