(to Cyan Griffonclaw) You'd have to put in a lot more effort to be offensive to get Bioware's attention on your thread and even then, I doubt it is the response you are seeking because then it is likely a summation of why your thread qualified for deletion. If you are expecting them to respond directly to your thread regarding your OP, then you should know it rarely happens with threads like yours no matter how long it stays up because it is regarding something I do not think they comment on. It can go wrong in way too many ways.

 

At this rate, you likely only qualify for Mod attention or the response of one.

This thread has its faults from the beginning. Yes, PC players have been lied to prior to release in despicable manner, but so were old gen console players. They often can't even play the bloody game despite promises it will for sure work on their machines. And new gen console players have many problems as well. Every platform was hit and if there ever was to be at least a tiny compensation, everyone would deserve it, because everyone has been beta testing this game, not just we PC players.

 

But it is pointless anyway, releasing games in a state that is not nearly ready for release is today's standard. Rotten practice for sure, but demanding something post-release is pointless, they already have your money. Plus we really don't exactly have a moral ground for demanding much, the game is somewhat playable, can be finished ok (ish). Although some compensation for various issues would certainly be nice and it would really help both BW and EA in the future. But guessing from the staggering amount of communication from BW I would say we won't get anything, no DLC, not an apology, nor even acknowledgement of those issues

(to Jeffry) I doubt EA would present an apology, however, warranted and no matter how much goodwill it would bring them and I doubt Bioware would be allowed to issue an apology even if it was only on their own behalf. It is a sucky situation old gen-players are in and I disagree with the notion that they should have seen it coming by playing on last-gen considering the gap and left-out features that should at least have warranted a mention.

I don't like handouts so I don't want dlc compensation even though there is plenty I have found lacking, what they owe us is a layer of polish, bug fixes and some quality of life features(camera zoom options, storage and better appearance options).

I do however expect a black emporium dlc to be released for a cheap price.

I would love to see some kind of communication from bioware in this forum like the mass effect 3 forums which had some pretty decent social moderators.

Yeah, EA won't. They won't trash their game after all the praise and awards it has gotten and after all those money it has made them (so much that it exceeded their expectations in fact). Honestly, I don't envy BW. I believe they are not morons and they can see what's wrong with their game, but are not able to do much about it, because they clearly didn't have enough time to polish it and now lot of people were transfered to different projects. But instead of that long holiday break they should have worked on the game some more and not leave like only one guy behind to do all the patching.

 

The game should have never been released on the old gen consoles in the first place, it took way too much resources away. But since it was, it should have received bigger care both prior and post release. It is absolutely not the fault of the costumers, they were blatantly lied to and could not really seen this coming (especially when we look for example at GTA V).
