No fetch quests in Witcher 3, how will that compare to DAI?

Um, he pretty much had the exact same personality in both games. They just had more tools to emphasize those personality traits more in Assassins of Kings; facial animations and such. Also Geralt´s voice actor seemed to make more efficient job second time around but it didnt per se effect any dialoque or personality of Geralt as a character.

Actually I am pretty sure the first Witcher game suffered from a lackluster english translation which is why they actually hired an english writer for the translation in the second.

You know, it really isn't fair to CD Projekt Red, but they'll never see a dime from me just because of the attitudes of their fans.

I guess the real question is why do Dragon Age fans get so upset whenever the word Witcher is mentioned in the same sentence as Dragon Age, I mean you don't see Bungie fans getting upset when Halo and Destiny are compared so why is this such a sore point among Bioware fans?

that's because Halo and Destiny fans are both pissed off right now

Bioware fans aren't THAT bad...

.. although the DA:I forums nearly bring me to tears.

That said, I have no motivation to play any of CD Red's games.  I don't see any reason to really get into them. Supposedly they are (mostly) a pornier Bioware game without the ruthless overemphasis of multiculturalist and gay pride undertones.

Now that I say it aloud, I think a CD game might be good.

A lot of those "attitudes" stem from their fans being disgruntled ex-bioware fans.

What could make them disgruntled ex-bioware fans?

I mean other than DA2, ME3, TOR.... ah hell.

Bugger off CD Red fanboys!  :pinched:

That's a pretty messed up excuse as to not enjoy a good game.

Most fandoms aren't that great anyway. Especially if you belong to the 'other camp.'

Just do what I do.

Buy the Witcher, buy DAI, and screw the rest of 'em.

*snip*

LOTR? Pretty much dead atm. A shadow of what it once was with a bunch of halfbaked posers trying to occupy its throne.

Its not a shadow of what it once was, its the same as its been since Professor Tolkien died and the rest of the information as published posthumously

everything since then has been playing catch up

If I start letting fandoms that annoy me dictate what games I buy, I would probably never buy another game. Like ever.

The witcher is a fantastic series, and I hope you rethink your stance, as I am certain you would enjoy it.
