If they did someone would likely complain about that too.
I remember someone posting a thread complaining that his other thread got closed while claiming that BioWare advocates extreme censorship.

I remember that, the OP claimed it was akin to book burning. They were kind of hysterical. I think they ended up perma banned.
Wow, I had to just come to see what's the risk is closure is about, first time I saw that one XD
Uh actually on the topic, I saw this article about problems with preorders and how they should stop. The problem is that people preorder game when it's marketed good, not when it's actually good. I think the problem with BW was same. I actually ordered the game today cause I'm tired of waiting it but now I at least know what I'm getting from post, game that has change of not even working at all, game that will likely be full of crashes, texture issues and corrupted saves. Game that looks and plays nothing like was promised in marketing ![]()
But I guess marketing is always like that, praising the product endlessly and only small part of it is true.

Ouch.

Still waiting for those flocks of women after spraying some Axe
You mean the angels falling from heaven? XD
I was just waiting something that looks like PS3 version of what I saw in streams and trailes.. now it's more like PS2 version, and that works without much problems but sadly no. If this is Dragon Age game Bioware always wanted to make I have to question their taste of games.

If you've read the reviews, seen the twitch and youtube vids then your getting the same thing. OP is talking about a pre-alpha vid that got leaked in 2013, and how things changed from pre-alpha to now.
I bought exactly what I wanted

Nope. Have you seen PS3 porting and how it's work? It doesn't work and it looks like PS2 game.

Bioware never used the PS3 in previews/trailers as far as I can recall.
Yep they chose not to no matter how much people asked them. They only stated that they maximised potential of the console and game works as well, nothing is missing and aesthetic experience is same. Everyone of this is pretty much lie ^^; So yep, never trust marketing, it always fails you.

The way I see it, we aren't ever going to be shown anything that's too spoilerific. Would it have been fun to play through the Crestwood sequence knowing what was going to happen? No. It was a great example of a mechanic that takes place everywhere in DAI, though: No matter what you do, you are never going to be able to please everyone. Every decision in the final game is like that, so I don't feel misled. With the templar boats on the Storm Coast, yeah, we can't destroy them like we did in the demo... but we can break or build things in game, and not always intentionally. This is a no spoiler forum, but I will say that my inquisitor got stranded on the battlements while attempting to take a certain keep and almost died to archer fire because the rest of the party was somewhere else. My inquisitor broke the wooden connecting bridge with a careless AoE.
But I will concede that I expected the keeps/strongholds to be more customizable.
"During PAX, BioWare put an emphasis on environmental destruction: There's a section during combat where the player can spot archers on a rickety bridge, then take them out by smashing a ladder and knocking them all down. But, no, we didn't get any of that in the final game."
Huh? I think the person who has written this article never made it to the Griffon Wing Keep. You CAN destroy that wooden bridge with a two-handed weapon. It is in the final game. And it's not the only thing that you can actually destroy with a weapon or immolate spell.
I knocked down that exact same bridge in my first playthrough.

That's the only bit of content (plus deeper Skyhold customization) that I think BioWare advertised yet truly failed to deliver.
Actually, it's not a lie. If you look at other titles that are on both last and current gen consoles, the last gen version always looks terrible. So I'm sure they maximized the potential of the old consoles.
If the game looks worse than none of BW's other games on PS3 I think it's job poorly done. Also they said game would work and nothing would be missing but those weren't true either.

Oh yea I remember thinking about that when I cleared the first keep.
The three you ended up getting each had their own default agent type.
Perhaps they will be reimplemented into later DLC. I sure hope so.
More Skyhold customization will inevitably be added in DLC though. That's one thing I'm 100% sure of.
Irrelevant, really. Cause anyone who bought this game based on that PAX video has absolutely no idea what he/she is doing.
Buying a game based on a pre-alpha vid is ludicrous. It borders on insanity if you have even the faintest hint of how the gaming industry works.
Its funny how people forget about the DA2 trailers that had all the alpha footage. In one of them Bethany and Carver were running through Darktown. ![]()

The attendees were clearly not all journalists, the person who filmed it was clearly not a journalist.
And? Even less control over what non-journalist attendees will say and share, as this example itself demonstrates.
Promotion at a gaming conference of pre-alpha footage is just that. It is a description of planned (at that stage) gameplay to get folks excited. To get them watching for the pre-order opportunity. (Unless pre-order was actively available at that very moment, which I would be very surprised at).
I have gotten to the point where I generally will not be pre-ordering any games. (I confess, I did pre-order DAI, but I was fine with the risk based on what I knew at that time). I want them promoting, and giving me ideas about what has them excited about the game they are developing. It's not a guarantee that they will deliver everything they hoped, nor that I will pay everything they ask for. ![]()

I feel like your PS3 version is different then my PS3 version. Mine works just fine, mine also looks like any other PS3 version I've played recently where the Devs split it between new gen and old gen
