If there is reasonable tax rate: 5%-25%

Not ridiculous tax rate: 30%-60% (Is there any country that has above 60% tax rate? It would be retard absurd!)

Tariff is another thing though.

Many Scandinavian countries have the tax rate around 60%. In return for this, students do not have to pay a dime for their schools. Only lodging and accommodations are being paid by themselves. Even then, they usually get enough allowance from the government that pays off the bills.

The elderly also get full retirement coverage.

Which is nonsense. A capable country can do that with 25% tax. And there is no need for everyone to go to Universities. By success in tests of knowledge and intelligence the worthy students shall enter the free universities. Others shall pay the expensive price to go to universities if they want.

I have to decide if I should get an rsp this year or not.  I'll probably owe the govt if I don't get one.  I really hate actually having to make an appt to see someone at my bank though.  I'd buy one via online banking but the web site is hilariously awful in letting you do so.

In any case I bought myself a luxury item about 2 weeks ago, a new tv.

He's gonna get you drunk and drag you to his dungeon to torture you. So if you're not careful OWA, you might be meeting "T" real soon in the afterlife.  :o Say you have other plans. Budgee can go to Japan by himself and prey on the girls there.

Turing is on it too. He eats the corpses to dispose of the evidence I hear.

****!!!! Thank you EP, THANK YOU! You are the only one who always tells me the truth here, I am so lucky to know you. I will not go to Japan with Budgee... I will say I have other plans. I owe my life to you EP!! I could have met "T" in the afterlife if it was not for you :crying: You saved my life!!

I'd like to believe that, but I have yet to see one myself. If you can mention a country (or region) that does this, point it out. I might consider living there and see how things are. It is also important to note that Scandinavia is rather low on the population. Compared to the USA or China, it is to be expected that individuals will have to pull more weight. Despite having less work hours and higher pay.

The assumption that everyone will go to university is a bit outrageous. Having most of the economic problems cleared out of the way usually means much higher requirements. Which also pushes the educational standards up.
