I downloaded the Deluxe edition off of Impulse yesterday, and I have been  unable to receive any of the content I paid extra for... nor any of the content free with the basic game. The daupdatersvc.service utility that others have installed to resolve this issue does not function, except as "daupdate.exe," which I presume is the same program, except I can only install updates I have already downloaded. Although this utility might provide a convoluted way for me to patch the game in the future, it does absolutely nothing for getting me the extra content guarenteed in my purchase of the Deluxe Edition. As such, I would be most appreciative of any help from knowledgeable sources, as I have completely exhausted all solutions I can formulate.

I bought the game in the metal box and have not been able to download anything yet.....very uphappy....don't release unless game is done.....

It sounds like in both cases the updater service is not running - either as it was not installed correctly by the digital provider's install, or through some other reason (possibly OS permissions etc).

Yea, saw that thread right after I posted this... tried the things in topics: 3.1.1: My character file is located here and it seems to run him alright...; 3.1.3-4; then 3.2- the file wasn't there so went to 3.2.3, got the common error there so searched for installutil.exe, which either doesn't exist on my comp or the search function can't find. I thoroughly enjoy the game even without all the extra stuff, but I feel like I'm missing out, especially with the Shale character.

Yea, I tried all that stuff... I have no installutil.exe file.

Edit-

Something just got patched that installed the update service- after running the daupdater.exe file, then restarting the game the DLC showed up in my download tab.
