The codex entries have no indicator on which one are new?

 

It would be brilliant to be able to search the codex by keywords, in case you want to read up on something.

The newest or unread codex entries have a small star on the right top corner of the image, which goes away once you've selected that codex - or at least that's what it has on the 360.

It's the same with the PC version - I see a little indicator that shows if I've read it or not. I wouldn't say no to a keyword search, though, or at least a better organization system.

Agreed, I'd also like it if the star only disappeared once you'd scrolled through the codex - it's sometimes hard to tell which ones you've just picked up and want to read because as you scroll down the page, the star disappears as soon as you land on it.
