If you take a peep at their wikipedia page it states that there is a new SW rpg in the pipeline. Anyone hear a confirmation of this somewhere? I don't really see a place on these forums to put this topic where Bioware would see it.
New KOTOR?

Sadly, the most likely answer to that unannounced Star Wars rpg on the wiki is that they are working on another expansion for SWTOR. Here's hoping I'm wrong and they do have a new single player Star Wars rpg int the works, though!

I was thinking that too, but the expansions weren't listed on it's wiki page and noticed it would probably come out after ME4. So i'm really hoping that they have signed up to craft a rpg for the new trilogy maybe? I really don't see a point in continuing the support of TOR after EA gutted their dev team and left Bioware Austin to bleed out. Bioware Austin is also working on a different title now, so I don't really see them supporting it much in the next few years.

The SWTOR expansions were listed there when I checked actually.

You are right, but the untitled one says RPG and not MMO so i'm going to hold out some hope :/

Nice pickup, I would imagine it could be a movie tie-in to Episode 7 or the new stand alone, but god i hope i'm wrong and it's kotor 3.

i want a good Kotor 3. Preferably similar what I had from my dream. it was dark but good. it had Revan as PC and it tastefully retcon TOR while respecting it

God I wish it's something good, i'd play it for countless hours. KOTOR is where I started playing Bioware games.

I don't think TOR is bad, just not what I and several others wanted honestly. Yes a new Revan game would be amazing!

TOR is not bad, but it doesn't need Revan or the Jedi Exile to be within TOR. OR the Revan Novel.

Oh it's not bad at all, I like it. I just don't like the format for it.

I really, really want a new KOTOR. I don't think it should be a Revan game, though. Considering how differently Revan's story could have played out they would basically need to create two almost entirely different games in the space of one to accomodate for the Heart of Darkness Sith Revived Revan and the Beacon of Redemption and Light Revan in order to satisfy their fanbase. Instead, a new KOTOR should only include Revan and the Exile as off-screen characters. It should feature a new character following clues left behind by Revan and/or the Exile that lead them into the deep outer rim to finish the fight they began when Revan disappeared after KOTOR. I normally hate this sort of thing since I've already played the games, but I think they should also make an interactive mini-book (like they did for ME2&3 as well as the DA Keep) so everyone can define the major choices they made in KOTOR 1&2 for consideration in the new game.

sometimes a good retcon is a good retcon and Revan and Jedi Exile shouldn't have been in TOR in the first place.

Except bioware didn't make KOTOR 2.

So? The events of the game are public record. I'm not talking about bringing back characters introduced in it for a new game. Just about picking out the major decisions so the game knows how to reference KOTOR 2 whenever something relevent comes up. I don't think there's any licensing issues there so long as they don't include any actual game clips. If there is, I don't think Obsidian would give any trouble and grant permission when asked (possibly for a tiny tiny slice of the profit and a mention in the credits).

Honestly, we don't even need to reference that game. Could just be removed since it's not part of the world they made.
