Always nice to see a thread like this pop among the bile.
Thank you Bioware. DA:I is an amazing game and I can't wait for future DLC ![]()
How about Making this thread about Thanking for the things ya Liked in the game ?
I thank you Bioware for Sera and her romance
I'm game.
Thank you Bioware, for Cassandra. And for the High Dragons. And for Morrigan's return. And for In Your Heart Shall Burn. And for Cole's hat.
Thanks for the qunari. My collection of Adaars is a great joy to me. And thanks for the Dwarven option as well; my Cadash and Sera are a delightful couple.
And Scout Harding.
And the Dragon fights.
Among other things.
500 of those hours have been fetch quest.
And I enjoyed every hour! But YMMV.
I didnt realize DAI was supposed to be an offline MMO.
You mean like DAO?
I thank bioware for a very enjoyable game, I am rather fond of my characters and for a good old fashioned RPG experience. I also thank you for some of the old school RPG mechanics even if some wrongfully think its from MMOs instead of MMOs taking it from old school RPGS.
Thank you BioWare for Cassandra's romance, for Morrigan & Kieran cuteness and for hinting they will return with the Warden.
Thank you, Bioware, for the amazing and enjoyable game. Also extra kudos for Dorian and Iron Bull romance!

Then you don't read posts huh... It have been said at least 100 times that fetch quests are not only in MMOs but they were before them
(sigh)
RPG = Role-playing game
MMO = (MMORPG) Massively multiplayer online role-playing game
Offline MMO = Massively multiplayer online role-playing game
An Offline MMO = An RPG
'We want an RPG not an offline MMO'
They are one and the same.
(sigh)

Massively multiplayer onlinerole-playing game

Unfortunately Logic doesn't seem to work around here.

Massively multiplayer onlinerole-playing game
Oh fun!
Here's another!
Statement:
DAI is an RPG that is an offline MMO.
Equation Form:
Roleplaying Game = Offline Massively Multiplayer Online Roleplaying Game
Parse the variables:
Roleplaying + Game = Offline + Massively Multiplayer + Online + Roleplaying + Game
Constraints:
Assume that Massively Multiplayer is one variable and Massively Multiplayer >= 0 (since there are at least zero people playing the game)
Offline and Online follow binary logic where Offline = 0 and Online = 1
Eliminate the common variables:
Roleplaying + Game = Offline + Massively Multiplayer + Online + Roleplaying + Game
0 = Offline + Massively Multiplayer + Online
Replace the values of Online and Offline:
So 0 = 0 + Massively Multiplayer + 1
Isolate the final variable:
Massively Multiplayer = - 1
But Massively Multiplayer >= 0
Conclusion:
Roleplaying Game =/= Offline Massively Multiplayer Online Roleplaying Game
Therefore the roleplaying game DAI is not an offline MMO.
<snip>
Isolate the final variable:
Massively Multiplayer = - 1
But Massively Multiplayer >= 0
<snip>
Now eliminate "Massively Multiplayer" (well you know you want to really) and you can show that 0 >= 1. ![]()
Congratulations, a first class piece of mathematics applied to game theory. ![]()

I'm thankful for Sera. Any studio could have made a similar game, but nobody else made Sera.

Is that because she was never an agreeable girl?

I guess the times never change. Now you guys equate DA:I to a singleplayer MMO, back then you did it to DA:O.
Hell, someone on here even linked to an official review that basically called DA:O an offline WoW.
Heh, if they thought Inquisition and DA:O were single player MMOs hate to think what they would have though of old school RPG series such as might and magic and others were you could easily sink dozens of hours or more into the game and not advance the main plot.

Go even further back to paper Dungeons and Dragons.
I had a sadistic dungeon master who would let us sink several weekends into our digressions without advancing his main plot...
Yay! A positive thread for once. Thank you Bioware for letting me break my poor little elf's heart three times with Solas. She will never learn and I don't want her to! Also, thanks for Dorian, Cass, Cole, Varric, Bull, Sera, Viv and Blackwall. I love all my companions and I love how beautiful Thedas looks in this game. Great job!

Or any JRPG for that matter, where grinding for money and experience is pretty much mandotory unless you want the game to be almost unbeatable.
I played Tera. It was a fun game throughout, but I quit after spending 40 days farming a raid-difficutly dungeon with some friends to make one chestpiece for my tank (and reroll it around 30 times for better stats) that looked ugly as sin.
I gave away my account to one of my friends, apologized profusely, and gtfo before I wasted any more time.
Never again. *shiver*
Thank you Bioware for making me cry my eyes out (wait, why am I thanking you for that??
) and loudly gasp and cover my gaping mouth in shock (I startled my cat and made my husband look at me like I was crazy several times during my first playthrough, lol). This was a seriously spell-binding, edge of your seat story. MOOAARRRRR.
Edit:
Oh, and I know this is the non-spoiler forum, but thank you for the scene referenced in my signature. Gets me every time. Leliana isn't even a particular favorite, but that scene is my absolute favorite across the entire Dragon Age series. So powerful. Can't give my thanks without giving it a proper shout out.
