I am receiving the following error message "item modification not successful". When I try to add a grip and blade to my stave. Anyone else experience this? Additional details are below:
Weapon: bloodwake
Grip: notched staff grip
Staff blade: acolyte staff blade
Item modification not successful

You can't modify certain Unique and Rare staves, sadly.
I can't find the exact same thread, but BWEAmelia had clarified about this bug on that thread.
Basically couple of Staves show that they have mod-able slots, but when you equip a mod onto them and hit confirm, it shows that error message. Apparently client-side it shows you have mods available on your staff but server side it's not the case.
Also Staff of the Void can't be modded, just so you know.
On the other hand Fury of the Veil and Pyre of the Forgotten both can be modded.

I can't imagine that being a hard one to fix. How long has it been now?
