I just unlocked the Necromancer and was wondering What is your favorite setup for her?

1) Walking Bomb + Upgrade.

 

2) Winters Grasp+ Upgrade.

 

3) Fadecloak or step.

 

4) Whatever I like. Just started to use upgraded Mindblast ... it's meh. But the barrier is a nice bonus.

How do you know when to blow up walking bomb or do you let it do it by itself?

aim to mob in middle of crowd, shot and let it blow up instantly so the mark spreads and sit back and watch the fireworks.

Walking bomb (upgraded)

 

Add in Ice armor and Death mark passives for ultimate destruction.
