I'm into plenty of fairly heavy and loud stuff.  Whether or not it's considered 'metal' no longer carries much weight for me.  But regardless, anything billing itself as 'hard' sh*t needs to convey some sense of compelling power...and that generally requires space & dynamics.

 

I saw stuff like Isis, Pelican & High on Fire mentioned here already.  I'm into that, fo sho.  I dig the first couple/few Sword releases too.
