Just to explain that bizzare video. Well it is actually pretty normal when you get past the flat out weird imagery.
Some guy has had a breakup or his relationship is not working out for reasons...
He retreats into his obsession.
Obsession takes over causing him to lose grip on reality and shelter himself in his room.
Either his girlfriend/ex-girlfriend is trying to reach out to him or he is remembering his girlfriend/ex-girlfriend trying to reach out to him.
He makes an effort to fight the addiction, but the addiction overwhelms him.
He is ultimately killed by his addiction. Notice how the video ends exactly how it starts (book ends) suggesting that this is a perpetual fight that he goes through.
