youThere are a lot of negative comments on the game update. I am in no way condoning them, nor do I feel that the people are handling the update in the right way.
youBut I do understand why they are upset, and I would like to do my best to diplomatically interpret they're feelings on the update.
youBasically, Dragon Age is hands down an amazing game. It has people addicted, and it's no surprise when people say they're 120 hours into the game (I'm over 90 in one save)

youIt was discovered that there was an exploit that would eliminate a lot of "farming" necessary to gain inquisition perks and inquisition power, this was recently updated by the developers.
youHere's why I feel like the developers did the right thing:
youWhen that kind of thing is not intentionally made into a game, it almost feels like a violation. It would feel to me that I worked so hard on something just for someone to not appreciate it for the way I made it.
youBut here's the reason why I feel like I see where the gamers are coming from:
youWhen you have to put so many hours into a game, it can literally consume your life. For people that have a lot going on, they want to feel like they accomplish something when they play. It makes them more incline to play with multiple saves, and to play every day. The exploit, though I admit may have been wrong, was like a ray of light for those people. It almost seemed like a "too good to be true" gift, that was actually real.
youIt saved people time, and they still had a lot of fun playing the game for the intense and deep lore, and all the possibilities that can be done to create your own adventure.
youHere's what I propose:
VidushiFirst of all i really appreciate your concern you have towards the game.
VidushiWe have extremely few players who actually care to give their feed back apart from their complaints.
youThe game was made with the exploit in it. I think it should stay in. I know that sounds off-putting. The game wasn't thought of as anything less because of the exploit, but because it was taken away it has stirred up unwanted negative feelings in the community. I think that if the Inquision team re-put the possibility back in and was just extra careful to not put it in the next game, the relationship that was damaged would be restored.
