You are medallionx. I played a couple games with you yesterday, and think you were streaming.  You seem like a very nice guy.  We were destroying people despite the lag, I was an elementalist.

It is pretty much the same on PC. It has also visibly gotten worse since the 9th, the exact day this thread was created.
There are rumors of a supposed 2K game out there that has allured part of our playerbase, which is a shame.

Yea it's a fun game. I will be spending half my time on Evolve, half on DAMP this weekend.

I dunno...I'm still finding matches so I'm not too worried. I suspect new game releases will always be a reason for pulling away part of the player base.

they've been ran off by the dev releasing a broken game.  I FINALLY got 1 person i used top lay with on the game...who didn't even have the DLC downloaded to start with.

 

He played 3 games and said yeah... "too little too late" and said hes done for good......thats the only person I have even been able to talk into logging on the game int he first place.

 

Say its the game...say its the dev....say its EA idc. Broken crap runs people off.  I won't ever preorder one again.

This morning (My time) I had no real trouble finding threatening games to complete the challenge - ran into a lot of the same people too, but try to find a routine game to level up low level characters? Nothing doing.

And yeah gotta think Evolve is going to affect the player base. I'm not interested in Evolve, but only a fool would dismiss it.

I can barely pug even under favorable conditions due to the Region-lock Matchmaking. That is also the reason you were running into the same people. It is just silly that we have this type of restriction in a game where lag is not that much of a dealbreaker.

I didn't have problems with the Weekend Challenges because I am fortunately able to play with some of the friends who still play the game - but obviously that is not perfect, it is not always that they are online nor they have space available in their lobbies - but since pugging is not an option, all I can do is to play with friends.
Honestly I can not express how important my remaining active friends are to me. Without them, there would be no DAMP. It is a shame that many left to play Evolve or whatever else though.

Still going strong, mostly on weekends though. I admit that just roaming the maps, with a small chance to actually get the new ones, without a goal in sight became a little dull. Then again it might be on me, since I don't like playing all characters equally.
