Afternoon Bioware as you may know from my other thread. I am a huge fan of DAMP but i am starting to get worried and even bored of DAMP. When can we expect a proper dlc as i was expecting to hear something this month. Its just you can only do the same three maps so many times before they drive you nuts lol.

Good question. Hey Bioware while you're at it can you randomize the enemy types and placements too?  I just about memorized where every enemy is on every map variant, and what type will be there.

Mike Laidlaw said “If you’re in the mood to DL something, the Bard songs are free for this week and the next.”

Bioware usually releases new patches and DLC's on Tuesdays.

A few things I would like to see.

-A higher difficulty setting, with new bosses/dragons.  Boss should drop a chest with a high chance of unique.

-A new faction, Undead? Darkspawn? Bandits?, with new maps.

-More character customization, new schematics.

-Larger outdoor maps with multiple paths and objectives other than 'kill everything'

I hate to be a pessimist but there might be nothing there with regard to DLCs.

Cant remember where but i do remember they said they would support DAMP longer than they did with me3mp. More worried about losing player base even the most loyal of us are starting to get bored. :(

I think when they said that they were fully expecting DAMP to be at least as successful as me3mp.  Dev support is proportional to player activity.  The DAMP player base is much smaller than me3mp's.

I think one DLC would be a miracle at this point.

I actually think they already have the DLC but just didnt release it yet. Bioware will not dare go back on their word now.  They are trying really hard to please fans. The game is winning awards, and I have no doubt that Bioware will come through.

Easy to win awards when the competition is weak

The competition was weak? This last November alone was one of the greatest release months in recent memory. Then having to contend with the rest of 2014, I wouldnt say the competition was weak.

I would not worry about that. Game will go on sale, more people will buy, new players will show up, same as with ME3. Some will quit, some will stay, it all evens out. But yes, it is getting somewhat dull. Three (and a half) maps just don't cut it. Although, I'm still in the process of learning and am not comfortable playing gold. Silver gradually becomes more and more of a breeze though even with low level characters. Also support does not necessarily mean content. It might mean minor issues, patches, challenges, tweaking, balancing, etc. I wish they would get rid of some most obvious things like focus gain on weapons, bleed on hit and other litte annoyances.

If Mofojokers can be bored of DAMP I guess DAMP is really doomed.

About difficulty, the Demon Commander is level 15 on perilous, there is definitely room for harder difficulties, maybe even two more.

So that patch broke my single player game, so many CTDs I can't even play. Ironically MP is the most stable for me now.

In regards to DLC, I'm pretty sure they'll add some in--probably good ones' too.

I hope they put in more/different party banter for MP, I know all the lines so well know I hear them in my sleep.

It was weak. Barely anything that has come out for next gen has been half decent.

I know im scared as well lol but we are on the edge of it. Our group has put down DAMP for now as we are worried that if we keep playing we will start been haters lol. I still think DAMP is insanely addictive and fun as hell. But there is so little atm lol it's time for a dlc and a big one at that. :D

I have this thought sometimes. Actually most of the time.
The community is tiny small, most people who planned to play it for hundreds of hours have already done so and are moving on. New players aren't coming in sufficient numbers to replace them. Community Challenges are a failure. There's just too little at stake for Bioware to care.
