Cant remember where but i do remember they said they would support DAMP longer than they did with me3mp. More worried about losing player base even the most loyal of us are starting to get bored. :(

So far we have seen no support other than some unannounced changes. If this is the support they promised, they wouldn't have much difficult in keeping it going.

Longer support doesn't mean more. They could release half the content in twice the time and still technically have followed through on the claims. Sigh.

Right now,I don’t plan to play anything else other than DA:I,so even if Biower doesn’t release some DLC (but I would like if they do),I’ll  still play.

But,as I am in same basket as Mofo(so to say),I also can’t play same three maps all over.

Small bits of  info in advance about some new content from BW would be appreciated.

Have you all considered how a new difficulty would disrupt the balance of the game at this point.. if it takes around 20 games to get to 1-20 and 15 for threat and around 10 for perilous then the next will be what 5 games... for me this will be good but for most it would further the gaps of leaderboard for those who care and the gaps in strangth... many can barely do perilous with out two people draging them through.... let's get real I have some of the highest stats in the game and I can't even best perilous with any class ...although I am not to far from that...my point is I don't think the majority is ready for new difficulty. .. but please please new maps new maps new maps

I've backed off 'em. Believed when they told us they were back. Now they've vanished again. Idk why they're so hell bent on keeping patches and DLC a secret. I'd feel a lot better if I had a timeline. If this silence continues another week, I'm out.

Afternoon Bioware as you may know from my other thread. I am a huge fan of DAMP but i am starting to get worried and even bored of DAMP. When can we expect a proper dlc as i was expecting to hear something this month. Its just you can only do the same three maps so many times before they drive you nuts lol.

And I get flayed for pointing that out in the Non-spoiler section of the DAI forums. Glad i'm not the only one who feels three places gets worn out pretty fast...especially when I always get stuck playing the palace.

The devs are clearly working on 'stuff'.

There are few games that can sustain people permanently (though DAI has done that for me since Nov)

If you're worm out play something else.

I'd rather it arrived when it's good and ready.

I feel the same, I am the same. I am harsh here on the forums especially when it comes to connectivity issues, but I play DAMP 6-8 hours a day during working days and almost non stop during my days off, and I see myself easily following this routine for the next year or two, because I am stubborn and still I see this game as ME3 spiritual successor.
Too many people are leaving the game and this week we will see some leaving 'en masse' due to the release of a certain Steam game, but to me it is business as usual. I will be DAMPing all night long, every night, regardless of the adversities (many of which are imposed by Bioware itself).

By a certain Steam game I take it you meant "Evolve"?

Also, the current bioware doesn't deserve your loyalty. Besides, I don't think your loyalty to this company is doing it any good.

I feel it is definitely a me3mp successor but abit needs to be done to bring it to the same level.

It seems to me that ME3 added at least 6 new maps over time....but they started with more I believe, so I would expect they would stay in line somewhat with this. Why reinvent the wheel when you have a successful model to follow. Do hope they get some new maps up soon though and maybe one or two new foe. Can't see them leaving this as is if they want it to be successfull. I actually went and played ME3MP this weekend after finished up the challenge on DA and there was still lots of people playing.

ME3 was released March and the first SP DLC (Leviathan) came out the following August. For Inquisition, this would translate to an April release, which sounds exactly right to me.

Next month we'll just get the Black Emporium update.

But, ME3's maps were arena types. DAMPs are much bigger. For example, just compare Jade or Glacier to the Elven Ruins.

This might help explain the silence about DLC.

It seems to me that ME3 added at least 6 new maps over time....

Mass Effect started with 6

  • Firebase Dagger
  • Firebase Ghost
  • Firebase Giant
  • Firebase Glacier
  • Firebase Reactor
  • Firebase White

The Resurgence DLC added 2 maps 1 month post launch

  • Firebase Hydra
  • Firebase Condor

The Rebellion DLC added 2 maps 3 months post launch

  • Firebase Goddess
  • Firebase Jade

The Earth DLC added 3 maps 4 months post launch

  • Firebase London
  • Firebase Rio
  • Firebase Vancouver

The Retaliation DLC added 6 re-skin 'Hazard' maps 7 months post launch and were the last maps.

  • Firebase Dagger (Sandstorm)
  • Firebase Ghost (Acid Rain)
  • Firebase Giant (Night)
  • Firebase Glacier (Seeker Swarm)
  • Firebase Reactor (Meltdown)
  • Firebase White (Whiteout)

Sure, DAMP currently has 3 maps and 3 'destruction' maps (which are significantly reworked), all of which are multiple zones.

I'm sure there's more coming, when ready.

As it was with ME

(aside of OneTrueShot's leaks, which made things worse not better, to be honest).

Agreed.  Not interested in leaks.  Just can't wait to hear more from BW.  I love DAMP, but I am finding myself getting a bit bored with it now.  Need a fresh infusion.  Anyhow, I know BW will speak up when they're ready.  Just feeling like the kid in the back seat "are we there yet?"  :)

I think there is still life in the current set up for now, I hope they do a better job of promoting future dlc with nice trailers like they did with ME3.  I really loved those.

Above all though is the connectivity issue that way way way above all will kill the game.  I know nothing about how mp works, how things are connected, whether type and quality of serves makes a difference etc.  I just hope BioWare is fully aware of how bad this issue is.  Losing connection in the lobby is a pain because of the time it takes to get back into the lobby and try again.  Losing connection or crashing out of the game mid game is infuriating because you can play 3 or 4 waves and get pretty well nothing out of it if like most perilous games people are not going after treasure.

Honestly, I haven't played in about a month and probably won't until there's DLC. I check back every Tuesday hoping but die inside a little everytime :( there's not a lot left, BioWare!
