I'm still working on my first play through....don't have a lot of time to play....and I'm in the EG at the moment. I've worked my way up to the top center part or the map and OMG what a surprise! I killed one giant and than I come across two fighting a bear (yikes) and than another one and another one....don't know how many in all. So run away to regroup and I head up to the left side of the map and oh what do I run into but a dragon! REALLY could it get any worse!!!! So please tell me that those giants don't respawn once you kill them? There is no way I'm going to be able to get all of them done in one go and with 12 healing potions. If I sit back and watch will two giants at least kill the bear..or better yet the bear kills the giants? Who came up with the crazy idea to stick all those giants together right next to a dragon!
Emerald Graves.....sweet mother of mercy!

They don't respawn, sadly.
And blame the red templars.

Once you kill all the giants they don't come back. The bear though......they always come back and they feed on fear.
Are we referring to the bronto?

Hmm, the Emerald Graves giants respawned for me (at least the ones near the dragon). I don't think the ones on the other side did though - can't remember for sure. Hit that area (near the dragon) at level 15 last run and ended up fighting 2 giants and a bronto. Spent half the fight running in circles to avoid the bronto charges. Went through all 8 healing potions and most of our regen potions, but we won. Came back for the dragon later and fought the giants again (no bronto) and finished with nice loot from the dragon and both giants.

Anyway there was no bears by the giants for me..

The giants there seemed to respawn indefinitely for me. I killed scores of them on my first playthrough and I could still find them in the upper portion of the map.

How is this happening to people? I would kill to have this in my game. I love taking them down.

There might be a way to get rid of them somehow, but I'm pretty sure they were always there for me on my first playthrough, even after wiping the map clean.

Same. They kept coming back. Poor things. They never stood a chance against my high-level Knight Enchanter. ![]()

The EG giants respawned indefinitely for me as well. Even worse the spawn rate is so high that the next one might spawn while you are still killing the previous one.
There are both brontos and great bears in that area, though the former only become hostile once they are zapped.

The giants started to seem like as much a nuisance as dragons in skyrim.

Just wait until you go after the two giants with the behemoth then a great bear and two brontos decide to get caught in the crossfire. (Pause, activate god mode, resume kicking buts and taking names.) that or die fast LOL.

The giants respawn indefinitely for me. I would kill two on the far side and then see two more on the opposite side. I leave the area, come back and there are 4 or 5 giants again.
I could barely get the landmarks in that area between the giants and gurns.
