I'm the only one sad with the remove of the money exploit?

I know know. It's an exploit. But it's not game breaking for a simple reason: Everything in the whole freaking game is overpriced, even gathering materials, building reputation and creating armors takes more effort than it should. Dragon Age Inquisition looks like an MMORPG in these terms.

Well it took me like 10 hours just to get something around 5000 gold and the best items sold in the game are in the 10k+ range.

Did you used the glitch? Or did you hate it?

I don't thinkk you can argue or suggest with bioware to bring the glitch back.

i don't see why it is such a big deal especially given that its s single player game..i personally didn't know about this glitch till the patch was released. why they focused on that expoilt vs say other giltches is a head scratcher for me.

(to Frocharocha) It is mostly because of the "I'm the only one sad"-question bit of the title that I ask. There are at least two large threads about the subject in the "Feedback and Suggestion" forum. I know not everybody goes there so I thought I'd ask. Your post echoes a lot of the sentiments expressed in those threads so it might be better to post in those and add to them.

I didnt mind it being in the game, players can freely modulate the difficulty of their game in many ways, an exploit is just one of those ways.

I didn't use it and didn't plan to.

That said, the reason why some people used the exploit does raise a legitimate question
about access to rare materials and schematics in the mid and end game.

That matter is addressed in this 30+ page thread.

Why, you would have just hated it for not giving you more gold than it did.

I was sad when it happened. I used it a little bit in my very first playthrough which helped out when I was trying to buy schematics and recipes from vendors. I didn't want to spend hours farming. I have limited time to play what with work, family and other things I do.

I left Destiny to come play this and loved it way more because I had more customisation abilities. Now that that's gone I've almost stopped playing and have returned back to Destiny (MEH-STINY). My issue with Destiny is that it wasn't fully customisable BUT you could get everything you required if you grind. Dragon Age was less of a grind. I did every single quest and farmed schematics like a madman and spent 200 hours on my first play through (took a couple of months with my limited time) to achieve all that. It was so much fun and I made plans to try all the classes and would've done the exact same thing.

THEN they fixed the glitch. And I didn't want to go ahead with my plans. It's not a gamebreaker as it's single player oriented. Give it back to us. It truly opens up the game to us where things are totally limited.

It's been done. Can't do anything about it, aside from making useless petitions to 'convince' BioWare to reintroduce the glitch.

People have been, there are a few threads about it over in Feedback and suggestions. I can honestly say I don't really have problems with gold and I don't exploit the game.

Maybe, just maybe they want you to have to pick and choose what you end up buying. That's how it was in the past games. You shouldn't be able to buy everything.

Gold shortage is especially bad in a game with loot based gameplay, because no matter how fancy your abilities are,

their effectiveness is extremely limited because it's always about a percentage: 200% weapon damage, 300% etc.

In any case, this is one reason I prefer playing on PC, I always have more options if I don't like something about the game,

be it cheating, limited modding even in some games that do not support modding, etc.

It's like iphone vs. android, one offers you a false sense of security, while the other offers you more options.

I didn't even know there was an exploit for this. No sweat off my back. I was never hurting for gold anyway...

If Iflattion in Thedas wasn't that bad. Money in Inquisition is very important.  They should decrease the valuable of items or increase the value of sellable items in future patches.

I haven't patched yet since I'm always offline. I didn't even know about this exploit until all the threads popped up about it being gone. I did use it in DAO and DA2 after a few playthroughs (also didn't know about those until way later). I'm definitely going to use it until the Black Emporium gets released. >:3
