PenguinFetish's DAMP trailer. Lot's of hard work went into this... And by hard work, I mean long hours combing through footage trying to find a clip where I am not bleeding out.

Note: No endangered animals were harmed in the making of this video.

Good Times!

Awesome trailer. Really like the Necro scenes. Especially the one where she is standing in the center of a Walking Bomb chain reaction.

F**k the Dub Step, though. One thing I am glad about moving from CA back to PA I don't have to hear that god awful excuse for EDM every time a see some skinny jean swag brohomo. Let's leave 2013-14 in the past...

Ok... So first a bit of a pet peeve: Dubstep is a reggae-based music genre. Not EDM. People mislabeled it a long time ago, and continue to do so. It's really annoying.

Secondly, the soundtrack of Dragon Age is copyrighted, so you cannot directly use any music from the soundtrack without risk of a DMCA strike filed against you. Most content creators have to pick royalty-free music as a result, which is a bit more of a limited pool. With that said, EDM is decent at action trailers though.

I have no idea what any of that means.

I know what pizza means, at least.

What are you talking about? It's clearly a youtube channel about cooking. I learned how to make chocolate croissants from it.

Haha, I know what you mean!....Why does Dub Step always have to ruin nice things? That being said, I can respect people's personal choices with music, but Dub Step makes my soul bleed. Other than that, cool video. I know 0 about making youtube videos, but it would be cool if there was some artwork intro for all of the classes followed by some gameplay awesomeness for each class.

Definitely not a fan of that music choice.  I get that it's fan made, but you'd think they would try to keep the music as close to the main games style as possible.

Getting a lawsuit from EA would not be on my bucket list.

Agreed on music being not preferable. Totally enjoyed it besides that.

Also sad that the only Hunter I saw was a Full Draw usage, which kind of sucks now that you can't double cast. Hook and Leaping would have been cool instead. Or Toxic & Stealth. Or like anything but Full. There are was a Leaping Shot at the end, but the DC is a total scrub now. Sorry, love my Hunter. I like him to shine.

Nice vid, the multiplayer still definitely has potential despite the grind fest and bugs, if devs can "do the right thing" before it's too late.

Would be glad to see Penguin's alt account here, I guess he still lurks on forum right?

I heard there's a CE script to allow free camera/FOV etc, not sure if it's usable in MP though.

So, how can the Alchemist throw out Jelly Beans multiple times in a row? I've seen it before ingame but never managed to do it myself. Has it something to do with the shift button?

It's the Throw Everything upgrade mixed with upgraded Fire Flask.

I mean... good effort an all, but first off - there's something weird about the graphics. Does not look good. This hasnt been recorded on ultrasettings?

Second, music would fit more too a sci fi genre game than a fantasy game. For me, it ruins the whole video - as I'm overly interested in music, and musical atmosphere.

Ok... So first a bit of a pet peeve: Dubstep is a reggae-based music genre. Not EDM. People mislabeled it a long time ago, and continue to do so. It's really annoying.

Ok, so a bit of a pet peeve for me as well here: In what way do you connect reggae with dubstep?

I mean, where do you find the connection between this:

and this:

Or this classic toots:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=otbtDNT6FA8

And then dubs like this:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=thJZHtrWYfg

....with dubstep.

I've been a collector of records for almost 20 years now, and a lot of that is reggae. I have never, ever heard the connection between dubstep and reggae and suspect that it is more geographical (which is quite a stretch) than musical, as dubstep to me originates more from 2 step, garage and jungle, which all are musical genres that has spawned in underground, largely jamaican subcultures in London.

If you are talking about dub then you might have a technical point - as dub, a stripped down echofied version of original reggae dubplates was the musical genre that popularized using the studio as an instrument to create music. Which is how all music is created now - except you use computers in stead of studios.

I'm also a fan of John Peel so I have known about dubstep for almost a decade now - I have never liked it and never will - and regard it as an insult to reggae that people say it has spawned dubstep.

That was pretty good, some abilities shown did not seem possible though without some fiddling if I am not mistaken.

Message from Penguin-

I totally saw the music comments arising. Unfortunatly you cannot please everyone. Regardless of the music choices, not eveyone would love it. My first choice of music was the main theme music from DA, but I do not possess a licence to use it. Given my channel is partnered with youtube, I cannot use music which I don't have a licence for. This is the reason that music choices are very limited, because without a creative commons licence, you can say goodbye to your partnership and potentially the loss of your channel. I do have a licence to use certain tracks by ApproachingNirvana, an artist which I do like very much, so I elected to use one of their songs. Not my first choice, but hey, I like it, and so do lots of others if the feedback I've gotten is anything to go by.

This video was recorded at 30 fps at max settings. Please note that this was recorded on Routine difficulty due to the fact that I had to play and record at the same time. I also had to sponge a lot of hits in order to position the camera the way I wanted too, so routine was really the only option for me. Nothing is modded though, so there is no tweaking on that front.

Oh and btw, dubstep originated from reggae, seeing as we are having this discussion. Its origins are from London, where I grew up. Jungle, Dubstep and Drum and Bass are all derived from reggae in the same way as hip hop is derived from disco. I figured this was common knowledge, at least it is here. Sorry if that insults your musical tastes, but that's just reality.

For me, it ruins the whole video - as I'm overly interested in music, and musical atmosphere.

If you as musically knowledgeable as you claim then you would know that there is this thing in the musical world called preference. This means that  the video is not necessarily ruined for everyone with musical interest. It just means that you don't like the same kind of music as I do.

Anyway, thanks for all your feedback, I may do more of these in future, so its good to know :)

Oh and to respond to people asking why I don't just post under an alt, you need to own a copy of the game to post here, making alt accounts almost impossible unless you buy a second copy of the game. I do lurk here though.
