Is it normal for the female elf to look like she has underarm chafing? she stand there with her arms sticking out at an angle like she's afraid of irritating a rash. This doesn't seem to be the broken joint issue, although her shoulders are weirdly narrow. Is this a bug, or is that just how the female elf model looks?

If you think that's bad look at the male elf. His arms clip into his body all the time in conversations and when ever i'm closing a fade rift his right arm literally bends backwards...it's really messed up and weird looking.

I expect her to start flapping her arms, or running to grab a towel. That's how people look when they get soaked in their clothes. Bothers the hell out of me. Which is annoying, because I think she has one of the best faces I've done in a BioWare game.

Agreed, this is the best looking character i've ever made in a game aside from FFXIV (The new one not the old one)

They quite literally almost share the exact same character body model.

Not enough development of the behavior animations and sometimes inattention to artistic detail -and Bioware worries about the negative comments -they should!

Maybe it is a bug. Either that or she tried a new rash cream on her left arm, because she finally put it down. Right arm is still sticking out weirdly though. She should probably try the cream on that one too. Or maybe she's afraid of touching the horn on her belt.

It's probably the horn, done to minimze clipping. (Why they didn't hang it from the back of the armour so it could only *maybe* clip with 2handers, I don't know.

The warrior horn is usually why at least one arm sticks out oddly. If you wear the armor where the horn is on the other side, the other arm will stick out. If you wear an armor that doesn't have the horn, neither of the arms will stick out (as much, usually). In the Skyhold pjs though both arms stick out, I guess it's to have a "dainty" stance or something. And it's not limited to elf females, all female characters do it. It makes my arms tired just looking at it. ![]()

I had a female Qunari mage in my first playthrough, and her arms never stuck out.

Because that was a mage, they have a book on them which sticks out much less. The rogues don't have it either, but all warriors carry this horn that causes the arms to go weird. Unless you meant the Skyhold outfit, you're right the Qunari have it the least obvious there, not nearly as much as the elves, but the stance is still there.

I had seen so many posts about the clipping of male elf arms, but never noticed it.. I played a Qunari mage my 1st time, and didnt even see Solas that often, because i didnt use him.. Now im playing a dw Elf, and WOW.. That is some terible animation.. Its like the shoulders joint has been cocked in the wrong angle, and its very off putting.. Its terrible to look at..
I wasnt a fan of the stiff, straight arms in DA:O, with open straight hands, but id kill to get that back over this... This is just... Sigh...
