Why hello new favorite thread! Here's my Marcus Trevelyan, youngest son, playboy, scoundrel, the product of a dozen restarts, endless tweaking and several name changes. I'd intended him for Josie, since Cass is not really his type, but Dorian is proving hard to resist.

I usually tweak and tweak until I have something I'm happy with, so I wouldn't be able to remember them because the values are always changing. I could be ok with the settings for the nose at one point, then go back to it afterwards because I wasn't truly satisfied.

 

Now that mention it, I think I do prefer the older looking IQ, too.. I guess he looks more 'real' with the scar and that lighting?

 

 

Both the scar and the eyes i think, there just something that makes the first IQ look more appealing to me!  

Could be the lightning as you say. Not sure. He has a nice face tho! ^^

 

Am myself waiting for the Black Emporium to get patched into game, so i can swap the complexion one of my chars, for some reason ive picked one that looks not at all the same with my settings up maxed out. Cause it sucks to turn down settings to play that IQ Haha. I dont feel like recreate him either, cause i wont get him to look the same without sliders saved

One thing that deters me from starting new chars is the fact that you pick your race and class and then the game just starts. Like, in Origins you could do all that AND shape that face of ur IQ and then the game starts. Wtf Bioware?

But its just one quick cutscene then u get to fix face, so not bad... But yeah i did react to this myself first time i made a IQ

The Emporium will be a nice boost, the changes we can do with the DAI CLI Save Editor are so limited, and its not as easy as i want it to be ^^

Altho, ive had to do the eyelash fix with it on 2 chars... I prefer not having red eyelashes!

I think, adding small "defects" adds to realistic looks. Most of my characters (in all games really) sadly suffer from "porcelaine doll syndrome", with spotless skin and rather bland eyes. I still wonder why this one turned out differently.

I am showing only this inquisitor, because his story is absolutely hillarious for me. I intended to make him absolutely handsome ( unlike the others where I didn't really care ), and I was certain it was the case ! Soooo proud of me ! I show it to my friends, whether male or female, and they are all ugh, he is ugly, zero personality, he is bland, he is generic ! Talk about crushing hopes ! I laughed so hard ! 

 

That's why I am always fascinated by how we see things differently with our tastes ! Didn't see it that way first, but after they all gave me their opinions, I changed mine, and it's true, he isn't really what I intended lmao ! 

 

Since that day I like him even more, even if he isn't popular at all ! My first inquisitor !

What? Seriously? I would say he's anything but bland. All those scars especially give some character.

So I decided to make another Lord Trevelyan. Sometimes I think I'm more addicted to the CC than the game. 

 

Meet Tristan Trevelyan. I was going for more of a creepy vibe this time, but he still turned out really pretty. XD He totally rocks that eyeliner.

Very happy with this one, although I was so eager to play I forgot to shut off the lip gloss. Should be an easy fix in MoT when it is released.

I went with a more Antivan look with this one. I was worried about how the Van ****** goatee would work but it looks fine.

 

I have one more playthrough to get through with a human then I'll tackle Elves/Qunari.
