Anyone run into a player named Tecdet? I have run into this guy several times and every time I do, he rants about how people should not play like rambo and that we should play like this is real life... I'm not joking...

Oooooh yes. That name - does - ring a bell. Must have been three encounters over the year. Each time, this ******* speaks up when we're still in the lobby, telling us what kits we should play and what guns we should use. Of course, I didn't comply and I just went with my trusty Claymore Drellgaurd. This stupid dude spent the first two waves saying, "I'm not picking you up, weak Drell." Or another classic, "You should stick to basketball." That last one was funny. All the other comments were plain annoying. I outscored him by a decent margin, and then he goes: "You got lucky. Yeah, I remember him saying that dumb **** too. He would go down and the team would revive him, yet when someone else went down he made no effort to help them. Also, I think he just plays for CP. I have never run into another player like this and I don't think I ever will. Lmao at the end though. You got lucky or you cheated. XD
One of the last times he joined my game (Troll sequence initiated). Switch teams on his ass and kept killing him over and over for about 30 mins. He had Survivor Title and after dieing about 100 times I said "You are not a very good survivor." He played some Mariachi music while this was going on over his mic. I think he is Dominican Republic Nationality and I know he lives in the Bronx because he wants me to come there and fight him in real life.
I've played with him a couple of times. No idea whether he rants or not since my voice-chat does not work. He has quite a high N7 and/or CP IIRC.

Yes I believe I have. Does he have a voice that sounds like he's on camera with his blacked out informing top secret mob activity? If so then yes.
I was in a game with him where we had the hack objective, he was giving us info on how to play. I then look to see where he was, he was all the way across the map shooting from afar using us as enemy bait. Immediately after the game we votekicked him. That felt good.

Of course he felt obligated to instruct us as to what loadouts we should be using, and naturally I went with a neon green Volus Sentinel with a Javelin; completely ignoring him. How many special forces employ oompa loompas? I let his ass bleed out everytime and ramboed my way to 1st place by a good 50k lead.

Possibly because some people think beating the game in story mode qualifies them to be the biggest, baddest dude on the block and just waltz through platinum.
I had a couple chuckles back when I was still playing and regularily hosted Gold PuGs ... had a policy of not kicking people for being inexperienced (only assholes, trolls, cheaters, etc.), though I would tell them they might want to start at lower difficulties. Once there was a N7 lvl 1 guy entering and when I told he might want to start with Bronze first, his reply was I played through singleplayer on hard twice, I can take this easily you elitist ****** ... he died a lot and accused me of having modded the game to give enemies infinite health, damage, etc. pp. ... the guy was funny.
Name sounds familiar, but I was probably not on mic every time I played with him so I cannot hear anything, no chance to admire his teachings.

never met him. Most people are decent folks, only a few are very, very extremely annoying. THere was this dude with an asian accent, always alone trying to fight the Reapers by himself, not doing the objective, insisting on staying at the evac zone alone instead of retreating and calling me a coward every time. I survived, he did not, I found another game and a better player.

Well I know when I'm playing my giant, bug-eyed former galatic imperialist who was genetically altered to serve his conquerors but then brought back onto the side of the good guys via a giant alien who lives in the sea and enslaves "lesser races" with the power of its mind and/or cheap Lovecraftian impersonations, with his chosen green laser beam of doom firearm, I always play it like it's real life.
