HELL YEAH!
Take that trolls who said DA:I failed because they hated it lol
Looking forward to DA4 in Tevinter (hopefully!)
Wait anybody outside the troll/haters pit doubted that DA4 wasn't already green lighted?

I admit after seeing some sales charts I was a bit unsure of DA4
As if there was any doubt.

Sales charts are mostly rubbish. Nobody outside the publisher has any idea how any particular game is selling.
Shadow Realms tells us not to take anything for granted.
Had DAI been a bug-filled failure, hated by critics and the public, the news might have been very different.
After DA2 and ME3 (both good games but flawed in parts) BioWare had a point to prove.
One might say they had a fair wind, but nevertheless, the point has been proved.
Good to hear. Whether you think DA:I was a success or not - there is a ton of story left to be explored and so much of the world and cultures that have only been hinted at. I am interested in it for that if nothing else.
Something i found interesting was, DA:I placed 19th for January best sellers on ps4 digital store, DA:O placed 11th on the ps3 digital store downloads for same month
Im guessing DA:I brought in a bunch of new fans tbh

Nice!
They'll love the games ![]()
Yeah hopefully m8, cause that means more DA for us ![]()
False. ME 1&@ were good, but ME3 was a major let down. Remember not to let yourself be blinded.
I agree, ME 3 was a major let down with the stupid ending(s). But this is neither the time nor place for that discussion.

Not surprising. I personally hate diving into a franchise anywhere later than the first game. Add that to how cheap DA:O is and it's kind of a no-brainer.
As long as they're DA games from the DA team, I'm glad to hear it.
Hopefully they don't just start pimping out the franchise to whatever studio needs the work.
You wouldn't want a Dragon Age by PlatinumGames?
cool
You wouldn't want a Dragon Age by PlatinumGames?
God that would be awesome.
Hey, Dragon Age Inquisition is a mixed bag, but this is excellent news. Curious to see where they go next. Lore wise, there's a lot of great stories to tell. I do hope that whatever follows cuts back significantly on the MMO /fetch quest/"EXPLORATION IS FUN!" nonsense. Other than that, can't wait to see more.
God that would be awesome.
Actually it would be, so long as they dropped any RPG pretense and made it a study in how insane and manic you can make a hack n' slash, like Bayonetta or Asura's Wrath (Asura's Wrath isn't a Platinum-developed game, but it follows a similar template of being completely and totally batsh*t crazy with its fighting).
I just want another Asura's Wrath game, badly.
Dragons Age 4 as a hack n slash has been made. its called Shadows of Mordor
I can't wait for the next game in the Dragon Age series. ![]()
Guh ... can't say I approve of the direction the DA franchise has taken, so I hope BioWare can figure out if they want to clone commercially successful games like Skyrim some more, or if they finally get back to their own strenghts of telling a good story with strong characters.
Now Bioware, take your time. The waiting will be painful, but we can hold on.
Now, hopefully they stick with a concept now, maybe make the semi open world to real open world.
But mostly, learn from what was not so good with DA:I
Make the sidequests a bigger impact, incorporate the strength of open world more into the main story and character development.
Don't change the game yet again completely because xyz AAA RPG was successful with this and that world/game style.

Good thing they did both in DAI. ![]()
