I saw it on Youtube first and was totally convinced it's made by prof VA or BW team project.
Amazing. Thank you!
..and what a voice! I would listen and listen, and listen...
Welllll, full disclosure, I am a VA, but I made this because I love the game, love the series, love crime fiction, and have a big place in my heart for Varric. Not a BW project I assure you ![]()
Hopefully you WILL continue to listen and listen and listen ![]()

Holy sh*t. I was not expecting this. Good job!
I sent them a clip ![]()
I wish I'd known about it sooner, I'd have rushed the rest of the recordings and tried to submit it as a whole!
Amazing work!
FFS OP!
I've listened the first two DA books read by Stephen Hoye on Audible and while he's not bad you're better on my opinion.
Listening to these chapter by chapter as youtube videos is pretty tedious though, having to switch to next one manually and playback pausing whenever I close my phone screen. In other words, not too good for work and such where you just want stuff playing automatically without interruption.
Not to take away from your feat by not so optimal presentation, just saying that if you have the time and all you could contact Audible and ask to do audiobook for this one and Asunder as well because there are none of those yet.
I saw on their site they're accepting readers if you send them a preview which you already have. Don't know how much they pay for it but I would assume it's at least something you could use.
Thanks a lot for doing this. It's quite a favor for the community.
That's.... good? Right?
Yes.
That is my "I'm impressed beyond words" reaction. ![]()
Hire this man, Bioware! I say it's a brilliant idea to voice all the codices. And the War Table letters. DLC!
Were not the codices in Mass Effect (1) read ?
I enjoyed letting the audio play on those.

Yes, all the main codex were voiced (which were mostly the basics) and secondary codex (which were more specific details about the various aspects of ME universe and the stuff in the various DLCs) were just text and it was done that way in all 3 games.

Yes you're right, the presentation isn't ideal for longform listening!
Unfortunately Audible uses ACX (Both owned by Amazon) for its narrators and I live in Canada, where ACX is not available, so unless I move to the United States I can't sign up.
I'm looking into making this whole series as a single file though so that should make it easier to listen to.
As for future reading of DA books that would be fun! I'll have to see how that goes, maybe there are other ways I could submit it. Investigations, commence!

Holy. You're very good. Bioware definitely needs to hire you mate. You've got a great voice. I'm willing to sign a petition or anything to support you. You've got talent.
That's very, very nice of you to say ![]()
I just did this because I read a lot of detective and crime fiction and this spoke to me, but getting a job out of it too would be pretty sweet ![]()
WooHooo! A new star is born in the BW U-Verse. It was so much fun, you're so gifted and it'll be fun to watch a career bloom from this

Donnen and Jevlan stumble across another crime scene... But are they alone...?
Find out in the latest installment of Hard in Hightown.
guys, just google "youtube to mp3"
There's tons of free software to convert this into audio files.
OP, I'd gush over your voice, but I haven't the opportunity to listen yet. Definitely will given the comments. I really want to listen to this now, but I think I'll save it for my car ride into work.
