Not sure if this is the right place to post, but I can't start a new topic in the tutorial or quest subforum, so sorry guys, here's my question:

 

Second PT, stuck in Western Approach. I've done all of Frederic's quests except "Draconology," which keeps showing on my map and tells me to find him even though I spoke to him about the stolen supplies the first time I saw him. So now he doesn't give me bait to lure the dragon because he's still waiting for the blasted supplies! Anybody has had this problem? Any advice?

I get it all the time on ps4, an no idea how i solve it, i just progress through the quests in Western Approach an it solves it self sometimes an sometimes not

Thanks. I'm playing on PS4 too. Luckily the problem resolved itself (this time), though the quest mark is still on the map...

I've had this happen before due to one of three reasons.  The quest log just isn't clear on the matter.

 

1. Dragon text needs to be located.

2. Dragon text needs to be translated at the war table.

3. You need to kill some more raiders to collect his supplies.  There are five of them in total I think.

 

If you're sure all of that has been done, then it's probably a bug I've not encountered before.

I've got this bug in my completionist pt!! I can't complete Draconology even when I killed the high dragon. I think the reason causing this bug is that you have collected all the five research material before talking to Federic.

I didn't have an opportunity to launch the game in quite some time (and even if so, I have no playthroughs via which I might check this), but I will ask one question - do they appear in the "Valuables" tab? If so, it is entirely possible.
