Now, now, I feel the need to list some drink from my favorite country.
Mainly because they don't have anything else. And their wine sucks.
What about Cooper's?

What about Cooper's?
I prefer Victoria Bitter and Toohey's.
I shouldn't say all of the stuff from Aus. is piss. Your recipe for Foster's is better than what I get back in the States.

Reported. Seriously dude ![]()
That said, I too have ceased using combustion as a part of my path to inner bliss, and I'm now experimenting with different vaporizers. It's an ongoing search, but an enjoyable one, and I'm quite committed to it at this stage.
For science, of course. ![]()

I'll have to see if I can find those. I'm in the states as well so it may not be possible.
If you can't find something better than Fosters in the states you might just be going to the wrong beer store.

I prefer Islay whiskies myself. I like the peaty, smoky whiskies. Glenlivet used to be my favorite (prior to that, Johnnie Walker). Now I find it undrinkable.
For me, my favorites are
# 1 Lagavulin - Very smoky, very complex, long finish
# 2 Ardbeg - Not so smoky, but very complex, also a long finish
# 3 Laphroaig - Smoky, big entrance, but not very complex, not a long finish. Good cheap alternate though
Non-Islay whiskies I still enjoy
Glenmorangie
Oban
Haven't had Chivas in a long time, and that was pre-Lagavulin for me. I'd have to give it another go to see how much I like it.

I've only ever had one islay malt, Port Charlotte (which I suppose you could say is a revival by Bruichladdich).

I know those brands because I lived in Aus for two years when my parents were in the Navy.
I'm not going to find any Aussie drinks right now, seeing as I'm presently deployed, but they're hard to find where I'm at. I have to order online if I want anything for the most part.
Central Indy is where I live for the time being. I used to be able to find a bit when I was in Chicago, but now, I have to go to a few specialty exotic stores just to find brands that I like. I try to taste as much as I can to find what I like; I love Mexican beer (they're the only ones who make a lager that I like) and I'll pound ale all night with the best of em'. But where I'm at, everyone's thinks the best stuff around is Sam Adams, and the usual **** is Coors, Bud, or Miller.
The only domestic brew I like is Michelob. Got any suggestions?

Try some woodford reserve ud you ever run across it. Basil Hayden is also really fine if you feel like throwing down some cash. Of course if your drinking black label money probably isn't a problem.True God would know that black is one of their lower labels.
Blue is their best.
The Glenlivet is the best. Johnnie's good, but not worth the price IMO.
On the topic of Scotch, Chivas Regal is damn fine as well for what you pay for. Cheap, quality single malt.
I forgot to add Knob Creek Whiskey to that list. And Sake.

I'll look for it.
Johnnie's not really cheap, but Black label isn't that expensive. There are better labels. I have a $300 Bottle of Blue Label back home that I take out for special occasions. For my more... casual scotch drinking, I stick to Glenlivet or Chivas. I'd like to get a bottle of Macallan, but that's a bit outside my price range; even I won't drop a thousand bucks for 1 bottle of alcohol.
I'm not saying Black label is bad, far from it, I'm just saying that there are, IMO, better whisky's than it for the price you can pay. I can get a $40 bottle of Glenlivet over a $35 Black Label.
I have a couple of Red Labels around somewhere too. I couldn't look at myself in the morning if I tried to keep Dewar's as my cheap scotch. I only drink that when it's on tap or if I'm on an airplane.

Move.
I'm in the mid-Atlantic region. There are craft brews every where. There are more taprooms and brewpubs in my area than I can count.
Tough to recommend beers, but I've been enjoying some aged in bourbon casks of late. Founders Backwoods Bastard Ale started me down that crooked road.
