Also, I get that Bianca is in the picture so - why not let me have a toxic Varric romance love triangle? He's obviously not opposed to complicated, bad relationships. I mean at this point we have romances who leave you. We have romances who betray or completely lie to you that you can then kill . We have romances with people who are dying. This is some serious soap opera melodrama already. What's one more going to hurt?
Varric - we want to kiss him - I expect this has been said elsewhere...

He's awesome. One of my favorite romances. I'm also ashamed to admit this because in hindsight he seems straight out of a bad YA paranormal romance novel. What do you want? I was like 16 at the time.

I definitely want there to be dwarf LIs, for sure. But I think it's fair that Varric's only got eyes for Bianca. I actually like when some characters are gated, as long as they have a valid reason.

It might have something to do with Gaider's strong dislike for Dwarves. He thinks of them as small children, the females especially.
No matter how many times I see that reasoning I still can't understand it. Almost sounds like a little kid thinking someones old or young based on how bigger or smaller they are compared to them. *sigh*
Just like to clarify I don't mean Gaider's comment specifically since I have no idea about the actual story behind that comment if it was a joke or not but I have seen quite a few people compare DA dwarfs to kids even saw someone call dwarf fans secret pedos which is both infuriating and saddening.
