I have a mage cousland due to a mod that somehow ended up in DAKeep and I can't get rid of him due to an error? I don't know how he ended up there but he did and I can't get rid of him?
I can't delete a warden that shouldn't exist?

It would make an inquisition playthrough fun to be sure. I've also heard tell of someone who got a bug that left their female warden as the father of Kieran and married Alistair. Wonders of wonders.

That's awesome.
"Father, is it true that my brother is a mage?"
"No, Fergus, and never repeat that slanderous lie again."
Meanwhile, Fergus' brother, the future Hero of Ferelden, conjures up fire for the fireplace with a snap of his fingers.
"But what if Templars..."
"They will never know, am I clear? He is a Cousland and will not spend his life locked in some Tower!"
"But it'll confuse the Dragon Age Keep!"
"Hang the Keep! Frustrating though it may be, this is my son we're talking about! I've not so many sons that I'll let the Keep simply delete one of them."
What I'm saying is, blame Teryn Bryce Cousland.
But to be serious. First, an obvious question: when you go to the left sidepanel, go to the Heroes section, click Dragon Age Origins, then click the tile for your mage Cousland, does the option to delete him not show on the profile at all? If not, definitely submit a report via Beta Feedback. I don't know what else to do if the option to delete a customized Warden simply isn't available. Sorry.

I'd say keep the Mage Cousland
It's unique and I don't think you can run out of character spots

Even when using a default Hero of Ferelden....
In my game instead of the Inquisitor starting in chains (with Cass and Leli), she was standing outside alone in the mountains (injured) with no way to progress in the game...

I can't figure out how to delete any heroes that shouldn't exist, for any of the games.
I create and delete characters for amusement, but they still show up as heroes in the Keep, even though they no longer exist in the game or on my computer. And I have tried everything to get new heroes from DAO into the Keep. All that show are old characters, long gone from my computer, but that still exist in my old BSN account. That account hasn't worked right in years, and any of my more recent DAO characters don't show there. I know there is a disconnect somewhere between my old BSN account with the DAO profiles created long ago, and my current version of DAO which runs under EA's Origin. The transition from my standalone copy of DAO and the conversion to EA's Origin is when the problem first surfaced.
I had so much trouble with my BSN account reflecting DAO characters that I actually bought the full game (again) through Origin, hoping it might smooth out the problems. It didn't. EA tech support could never figure out what was wrong and I kept getting bounced around until I finally gave up. I didn't think things not showing up in BSN (before the KEEP existed) would matter, but with the implementation of the Keep, it now does. The only DAO characters that show up in the Keep are those from the old BSN account which has not been updated with new characters for over two years.
I guess my wish is for a feature that I could invoke which would pull current hero information from my computer and delete those characters from the Keep that are no longer present from the Keep.
