When I scan a planet(have done this only twice) how do I know if their is a landing site or not? I know you hvae to scan for it but does something pop up or what?
Any help would be great.

EDI tells you that there is an anomaly detected. If there is one when you can there will be a running the radius of your scanner. As you move the scanner the line will move to point you to where the site is. When you get close to the site it will appear as a white dot, shoot a probe on top of that dot and it then gives you the option to land. Hope it helps
