If you get the " let's travel and get to know one another" you have a line of dialogue that you have yet to choose etc. It happened to me, I never selected the "I know why your not like other Elfs" dialogue line. All you have to do is go through all the different dialogue choices and find the one you are missing.

no way! its that easy? dude, I just thought it was because I didn't have enough approval. Not that I ever did anything she hugely didn't like. huh, thanks for the clear up, I'll try it again my next playthrough. I think I may keep my first ending up alone as cannon though, even though it was frustrating, it was also kinda funny and angsty and I had fun making her (my inquisitor) go crazy and power hungry trying to get over the rejection haha

Romance as a Dwarf isn't to bad either. Her constant apologizes about squeeing about how cute and short you are is pretty hilarious in my opinion.

I was playing as my male inquisitor and, after getting all the red handkerchiefs I completed the quest to unlock Sera. My first impression was : "So she's a short-haired woman wich is kinda ugly, but expressive. I really liked her! She'll be a great addition to my team! *BAM* You're hired."

 

So, after getting back to Haven, I had a chat with Sera at the tavern. When I hit 4 - the romance option button - she not only reject me, but she cringed at me.

 

Cringed... at... me...

 

Why not only "Look, I like girls. But it's alrit innit?", or something like that, in her silly way to speak?

 

I have been rejected by many women in real life before, but... This is new. I feel like I am crap. Before, I just felt like a loser, but whom could do something at life.

 

 

Can anyone help me? Your help would be very appreciated... Thank you...

Rejection is a part of life. She's a take no bull character and painfully blunt, so her response - no matter how annoying or unsavory - fits her. She's not one for subtlety.

 

^That's the only serious response I'll make in this thread, because I can't shake the feeling that I'm being trolled somehow.

I mean this in the nicest possible way, but I'm a little concerned by this. If rejection by a fictional character is making you feel so strongly upset that you wanted to burn her alive, despite you apparently finding her ugly both inside and out...

Well, it's not exactly the healthiest response. Maybe go outside, enjoy the breeze and put things into perspective. A bunch of pixels was programmed not to like your bunch of pixels. It's not an attack on you as a person.

That's odd.  My male qunari flirted with her and I got a "Yeah, we have so much in common.  Like, we both like girls"  And a "Sera slightly approves".

 

That's only if you try and date her after you know her a bit. If you talk to her in Haven all "Look forward to getting to know you, hope you feel the same honhon" her response is a Not even!
