I want this for my Knight-Enchanter. I have done multiple searches for where to find it and all i've found was vague referances that i "might" be able to get it from a chest or with a perk that i don't have sadley

 

When i say "might get it from a chest" i mean i haven't found anything solid as to rather or not it is actually possible to get it from chests.

so, basically. I'd like to know if it's possible to get both the base hat and the Superior verson Schematics from chest or if i do need the merchant perk?.

The base hat schematic should drop from the Northern Hunter in Crestwood. The superior version should show up in the Dog merchant's inventory with the Short List perk. I have never had either schematic drop from a chest.

Got it thank you!. Hours of farming chests and it was a dragon drop, who'd have thought, least it wasn't wasted tho. haha.

Congratulations!  I've been using the Superior Battlemage Cowl lately for the magic and cunning bonuses, but the Inq Hat does look great (if you can ignore the skullcap).

Yes, the Skull cap..... I went to the Nexus, sadly there are no mods to get rid of it I like it though cause with my coat my character feels like Van Helsing
