Yeah I hear you man, I'm in the same boat. It's annoying that you didn't get what you agreed to pay for, I guess. However, the card is still great value.

And lol, FTL, that's a beast of a setup, nice!

I agree. And since my monitor is 1080p maybe the vram isnt that big of a deal unless in a heavily modded game like my fallout or skyrim with crazy high res textures. If I did send it in the only other card that I would consider buying would be a 290x since they have dropped in price dramatically and they have pretty similar performance in most games.

Yeah, exactly the same things apply to me. Modded Skyrim is going to be the only problem... But I think one can easily work around that by trying textures and seeing what pushes you over 3.5 and what doesn't. Besides, even that 0.5 is still gonna be faster than system ram, so stuttering isn't gonna be that bad even if you go over it, before you reach 4...
