I am so glad I haven't chosen to ally with the Templars yet!
I read online that Arl Wulf would be implicated in convincing the rebel mages in allying with Alexius. That's one development I don't want to handle because he already lost a lot during the Fifth Blight.

You can choose how to handle him, like telling him he was fooled and he start giving false information to the Venatori, use him to feed false information to the Venatori without him knowing or executing him for what he did.
