Bad ones maybe.

nah, great times, being called a genocide fetishist, honestly every insult I've suffered has paled in comparison to that one

Indeed.

Mages vs templar quests and debates never end.  :P

Maybe BioWare should organise a conclave in order to broker a peace.

The best outcome is clearly Mage!Inquisitor (Bonus points if Trevelyan) conscripting the Templars and putting Vivienne on the Sunburst Throne.

Oh how the tables have turned . . .  ^_^

and considering there are Kirkwall Templars in the Inquisition, why can't we ever bring up how they tried to kill innocent mages?

Not just them but the main butcher Cullen is with them and he is our advisor, our "general"

We cant get rid of them, cant judge and execute them for what they done, not remember that even Hawke(its a pity that he does not kill Cullen with his Meredtih) do anything about that...and i remember when Keep have "Hawke was friend/enemy of Cullen", later even this was removed

It was really bad decidion as with Lellianna who many kill.

They should not be our forced companions and advisors

They should all be sent to Commorragh. A fitting fate.

Yay, he is back.

C'mon, Asdrubael's posts are hilarious. They are just so completely devoid of logic and ridiculously over the top.

Remember his claims 99% of Tevinter's population had elven ancestry and that was why it was better to be an elf in Tevinter?

Really, what's the point of this debate any more? We won. We freed the mages, installed a friendly Divine, and the world will not shatter. From the content of DAI and the epilogue, with all the information we have now, the magophobes have been proven wrong, and the Templar Order is gone forever. In our playthroughs, we will carry in our hearts and in the game the knowledge that we were right all along.

Because there's no way in hell that BioWare will retcon what happen in your epilogue slide for the sake of the story in the next game, and the peace and everything good will last forever. There can never be bad consequences from your decisions in the future right? Right?!

Given that bad consequences from choices in previous games have been virtually nonexistent in the DA series so far, I'm not too worried. And given that the DAI epilogues were designed with the series in mind, as opposed to DAO's which were written to make the game standalone in case no sequels were made, I'm not worried about that either.

New crises will always develop to keep the series going, but they won't come from the new system.

Yep, we have more in common than you thought, monkey. So...why do we keep fueling this pointless bickering in the first place.

At least you won't hear biased speculation from me.  ;)

Your basis for "victory" is writing that is affected by videogame limitations. Not empírical évidence or perfect logic. Merely the future games inability to be affected in a major manner by previous choices. And you require this faulty form of validation in order to "carry in your heart the knowledge you were right."
That's sad.

But why bother? If your opponent throws the board into the air and declares victory based on this, one does not try to explain why this is illogical.
One takes joy in no longer playing with that person.

In conclusion, xil is fishing for reactions. No reason to give her what she wants.

Because they can't accept that their preconceived notions about mages were wrong. As far as they are concerned, giving mages any kind of freedom, even at least independent circles is doomed to failure. They believe that treating mages like regular people will lead to Tevinter 2.0 or abomination central. The mage endings with Leliana as divine indicate otherwise. As a result, their viewpoints are essentially wrong. They still can't accept mage freedom unless it has negative consequences. Too bad for them as mage freedom IS working in that ending. Those claiming that mage freedom will backfire should take a good look at other decisions they claimed would backfire and turned out not to such as the DR, sparing the Architect, and putting Bhelen on the throne. I guess pessimistic bigots will always be pessimistic bigots.
