 I was trying to get Cass to be Divine, so that my Warden & Leliana could just disappear together after the Inquisition wasn't needed. I was saddened when Leliana was chosen as Divine (despite my support for Cass),  but  Divine Leliana essentially frees all mages and radically changes a system that's been in place for centuries. Sometimes violently.

Leliana isn't willing to lose the Warden for her Divine duty, so she changes the rules and they stay together...but it doesn't sound like a particularly happy existence for either of them. I know my Warden would be pretty miserable if she came back to find Leliana was Divine now.

I much prefer keeping Leliana off the Sunburst Throne, so Leliana can drop it all and continue hell-yeah adventuring with the Warden just like she wanted. Much better.

The Warden story is over , but I do agree that Bioware stupidly stated that the Warden was doing stuff in Inquisition. I think sending him/her on a mission to end the Calling was folly; Bioware simply should have acknowledged the ending that YOU as a player picked. Romanced Leliana? Warden was off adventuring. Romanced Zev? They were together off adventuring. Queen/King Consort? They were occupied running a state.

Or at least just some implication that it happened, like the Inquisiton being said to have a new spymaster next game or something and Leliana and the Warden not showing up anymore because they're off who-knows-where. Seriously, they deserve to get away by now. Don't separate them again, BioWare. :S

Leliana is definetely the best Divine .  Mages live freely and happily forever with her reign. She will use words to convince all the priests so that they can accept blood mages, elves, apostates, humans, warriors, dwarves, rogues, tevinter mages and tal-vassoths in the Chantry.   If you are also an atheist or idealistic person she is your best bet. And since she is in command, she will bring the Hero of Fereldan and kiss him/her in front of all Southern thedas and make love in the shores .

 

Compared to Vivienne and Cassandra that put everybody in prison and force them to praise an un-existing god.

Some people just can't accept that Leliana is definitely Bioware's preferred Divine. Why else would they try to eliminate as many bad things about her reign as possible. I look forward to the reactions when Leliana's haters can't accept that her reign won't backfire.

The Leliana and the Warden will leave for fanfics. Or maybe in the next game can be a scandal, ''Divine Leliana is pregnant'' and bla bla bla , it would be interesting to see her being deposed. I am not taking into account that he can change it, after all she is a reformist.
