Ooh, I'll play.

"Tiyed of waiting a round." This reminds me of Lili Von Shtupp from Blazing Saddles for some reason. Not a bad thing, but definitely repetitive.

YES!!!!  Every time I hear that line (which is ALOT), that whole damned song runs through my head.  Sheer agony!

7. The gorilla walk of shame - oops, I don't wanna tell anyone, but I think I got something nasty stuck in my drawers - haven't had time to do anything about that, haven't had a bath or change of clothes for at least 102 hours......

Oh man, this one drives me crazy, I can't believe I didn't mention it!

At least they attack and you can find them afterwards.  I hate when I randomly hit a fennec or something and it dashes off and forces me to hunt it down so I can exit combat.

You can hit the Disengage command to exit combat when this happens.

You can hit the Disengage command to exit combat when this happens.

Except it does not always work for animals- they will hound you, running around in circles until you kill them. You put your weapons away and most companions do it, but I often find that main char will remain in combat.

My main gripe is my parties utter incompetence, seriously. And all the bugs, bulkiness lack of info etc but for now it's this.

Me: "Seems like a dwarven tunnel or something .. what do you think it's for"

Varric: "How the **** should I know!?"

Solas: "Estás madre smalls como el queso en la barbilla"

Sera: "Pfft, eleven language sucks!"

(I know he doesn't talk spanish, but can't find the elven translator on google)

Me: "Look darkspawn! Blackwall how many?"

Blackwall: "Huh? oh, iunno"

Then he's the first to go down when fighting them >.<

Shouldn't he have an innate ability to do extra damage against them ... or at least feel how many are around?

Seriously nobody in my party has any sort of insightful or helpful information, at all ever, and the only one that does never shares! .. solas you ass

Most of the time I'm roaming with 1 or 2 people I just feel like having around at the time to keep me company cause that's really all they do.

Varric grew up on the surface- hes very 'un-dwarf-like', so it makes sense that he's not on top of Dwarven lore.

Sera hates elven culture, she grew up with humans and seems to despise the Dalish and anything 'elfy'. She always groans when Solas talks about elves or speaks the language. And she LOVED to badmouth elves, so its no surprise she hates him speaking elven.

And the Blackwall one.... theres a reason for that, but it you haven't gotten to that point I won't say anything. I know its the spoiler section but... you'll find out eventually.

The fact that EVERY WOMAN at the Winter Palace ball has the same dress. I think there were only 2 different clothes, so you would have a sea of ladies all wearing the exact same dress AND mask. How did anyone ever live that party down? They all came wearing the same thing!

My quick impression of trying to get my mages to not directly in stand in front of dragons:

"Get out the fire.  Get out of the fire."

"Oh, I was supposed to get out of the fire?  I thought you were supposed to get in the fire"

My pet peeve is that my mage can never have some of the "cool" powers NPC mages do.

And what's with only being able to use my power to rebuild certain bridges, but not others?

Why can't *I* clear the tunnel or raise the bridge in the Exalted Plains?

And the Inquisition can rebuild the stone bridge in one area ... but has to do a patchwork job using wooden planks in another?

And give us back the ability to select our own backstory.

That no one ever cleaned up the path up to my quarters in Skyhold.  How many times must I look at that bucket?

That I can't challenge to talk back to certain companions because the writers have predetermined the nature of our relationship.  I don't like when the game takes away player agency. (e.g. Vivienne, Bianca, etc.).

Solas: I sense one of the ancient artifacts of my people

Inquisitor: *groan* ... I'll go find it...

1.That goddamn Requisition officer. If I would use mods, I would use one that would cut her legs off, and she could stand in the corner yelling "come here I'll bite your legs off, Inquisitor" all she liked. The buzzkill kills banter and I spend time trying to fadestep away from her before she does her flank attack.

The second Requisition officer at skyhold drove me nuts. Whenever I wanted to just look at the reqs and not actually make anything, I'd exit out of the menu and he'd go "Nothing?!"

I am the @#*@)$& Inquisitor, dude! I will make your darn requisitions when I'm good and ready!

So, I keep thinking of things as I read back through this thread...

The major upgrades to Skyhold that do NOTHING. Like, I just built a freaking mage tower and infirmary for you people and you don't USE it?!?! It's got cob webs in it and everything.

I'm surprised so many people have complained about companions blocking doorways. Mine are actually really good at getting out of the way. I actually thought it was something that was purposely coded and was giving Bioware props for. Apparently, I'm just lucky???

Are you sure that's not coming from Cassandra? That's one of her battle cries.

Everything is shiny... even wood... and cotton.

The damn Bottles of Thedas quest. The yellow circle lights up and my companions are all "Let's look around!" and I'm like "Oh, something interesting... it's a @#)*%& bottle!"

I suppose one of mine would be the conversation near the start of the game when you reach the Temple of Sacred Ashes.

Cassandra: "This is your chance to end this. Are you ready?"
Inquisitor: "I'll try, but I don't know if I can reach that, much less close it."
OR Inquisitor: "I'm not sure how to even start getting up to that thing."
OR Inquisitor: "I'm assuming you have a plan to get me up there?"
Solas: "No. This rift was the first, and it is the key. Seal it, and perhaps we seal the Breach."

Considering that each response the Inquisitor can give is regarding their ability to reach the rift, Solas' "No" seems like an unnecessary argument, and the rest of his sentence is irrelevant to the Inquisitor's statement.

I don't know why that annoys me, but it just does. Every time I start a new playthrough, I can't help but tut at Solas there. :P

Not having an option to just ditch the chantry.

That said, there was the option to tell Cassandra repeatedly that it should be scrapped.
Hooray for trolling Cassandra.

I discovered another irritant in a new play-through. I usually take the ram meat/rebel caches quests and circle around towards the cult and Ritts early on. I must have always done the first artifact quest before, though.

Today I discovered if you have not done the first measure the veil quest with the Dalish elf, Solas doesn't blink or nod or say anything about the artifact in the stupid cult compound. You can't click on it. You can't activate it. Do they seriously expect us to come all the way back there just to activate it? Let Solas mention it there, for crying out loud.

Really? I'm sure I activated it the first time I rolled through there with my elf mage and Solas was like "This is an elven artifact, there may be more." Weird.

When my companions have a field day in the fire ball a high dragon just spit at them. I swear, Blackwall just loves the stuff.
