They shouldn't have put images from pre alpha build in this video. It's so 'dangerous' given the recent hate what is in the final game and what was in the pre alpha build.

Couple months after the premiere and they are still using pre-alpha footage of things which didn't end up in final mediocre half-prodcut ( sold for full price of a high quality product) to advertise their game. 

 

And they got game of the year? EA coffers must be full indeed.

I imagine they included them because that was the world being built at the time, so it technically belongs in the video.

Although I do agree that this may cause confusion.

I'm finally home and had a chance to watch the video and... yeah, it's a bit odd seeing mostly old promo footage used for this. It could be that they're simply too busy working on patches/DLC/etc. to create and edit a bunch of new footage for this.

I didn't watch the pre-alpha stuff so I am not sure what the issue is. A few map areas look a bit different, I just took all of that to be an example of a huge world.

More likely that vast majority moved to ME team, DA leads are probably doing conceptual work for next DA game and small team is making patches and DLCs for DAI. Likely to be interns.

Hate to interrupt your bitterness, but they've already announced they're working on DA:I DLC. I somehow doubt it's just interns.

Thank you op, they did create a good and interesting world for us to explore so they deserve praise for that.

Well I may have a lot of issues with DA:I, but it is indeed pretty to look at.

A shallow but a pretty world it is. I got over it really quickly. Would have preferred fewer maps with more varied and intriguing things to do.
