Bioware is working on the first Story DLC! No word on what it'll be about, but they have confirmed that a storage chest and a post-prologue way to change your face will be included.

Honestly, no matter what this will be about (the Solasmancers' Wolf Hunt will probably be left for last T~T) I'm hoping for at least one battle where your entire party helps. Origins had it, when your camp is attacked be Shrieks and then just before you fight your way through Denerim. 2, for all that people didn't like it, gave a great feeling when you kill Orsino and Meredith with everyone backing you up. Heck, Zevran joined in, too, which had me grinning like an idiot.

I feel that Bioware could expand on that. There was a great opportunity when Haven was attacked, but no epic battle backed by all your friends occurred. Perhaps someone attacks Skyhold? I'd like someone to attack Skyhold of it means all our friends fight with us.

(Yes, I made this post in a discussion forum, but might as well get my idea heard, since they have heard at least some of the suggestions :) Cheers)

UPDATE:
http://blog.bioware....black-emporium/

Looks like the ability to edit faces and storage will be part of the upcoming patch. They're beta testing, which makes sense; they gotta make sure there's no bugs in the Black Emporium, after all ^_^ But it's cool that they're adding the ability to change the color on your armor. No more hideous plaidweave mage armor!

Well, I don't just want the opportunity to edit face after prologue, I also want the possibility to actually save it; a ME style face code or something similar. I want to be able to use that same face on different playthroughs. If we don't get that, I'm gonna be extremely disappointed. Hurray for storage chest!

Edit: Yeah, a source, please?

Source, please? I don't believe this without a primary source, as much as I'd like to.

Nope dont want it, if "citadel" type dlc become a norm, tbh i prob stop buying the games, yeah i dislike them that much, having your full team displayed in the final battle should be in the vanilla game not an afterthought that is put into some dlc.

Battle of Haven but more so Arbor wilds should have an could have been done better, but it wasnt

I think they should fix the gamebreaking bugs that happen during the main story of DA:I, before they add to it.

Bug fixing and DLC's are quite often managed by 2 different teams though I think

Even so. Let the bug fixers finish their pile before adding another truckload to it.

Well, they seem to have squashed most of the game breaking bugs, so starting development now makes sense. By the time the DLC is released, there will be even fewer bugs, and any that are found by players in the DLC can be worked on by the other team when it's released, thereby keeping the bug squashers busy

Another "let's debalance game" DLC?

What happened with good old POSTEPILOGUE expansions?

Whatever gamechanger it is this time, I'm not buying. Had enough of that crap with ME series DLC.

The tweets say they are working on additional content (nice!), but only "looking at" a storage chest or face changer function. So don't get excited yet.

@OP:

Thanks for the source.

My game is still stuck due to a bug. Been that way since December....So no...bugs aren't fixed.

Why wasn't a storage chest already in the game to begin with?

The lack of a storage chest might have been just an oversight, though. In all fairness.

Also the first DLC will be temporarily exclusive for Xbone for 30 days anyway so anyone not on that platform shouldn't really hyped yet.

Am I the only one that feel bad?

Storage and face-change in a paid DLC? If it is true, it's a serious backtrack...

I'm far to cynical to believe that.

Pay ekstra for a feature that lets you store your loot. First time I have seen this, to be honest.

(to Keitaro57) I believe storage in Origins was only avaliable through paid DLC. There was a mod also but for non-PC players, I think DLC was the only way to obtain a storage chest.

Sorry, I can't believe that for a second. They fill the game up with junk, they include inventory expansion perks, and they just forget to include a storage chest?

I'm absolutely certain it was decreed by someone that they can sell more DLC if they include these little luxuries that they know players will request in their DLC offerings.

In fact, if I ran things and if I was soulless, you'd get the storage in one DLC, the appearance changer in the next DLC, etc.

Might be you are right there. But DA:O didn't have a cluster of items you couldn't used because of level restrictions either. Aparantly you need to kill an extra amount of enemies now, in order to wear a pair of boots.

I just want a "win combat" button added as a DLC. Just a combo or something that kills all the enemies on the screen, so I can skip that boring crap.
