There is a serious flaw in the current pricing for ME DLC for the PC. The pricing for DLC has not changed since release and PC gamers are getting increasingly ripped off as time goes by.

At present in the UK origin store ME2 and ME3 are priced at £9.99 each. In recent sales they have been reduced to at least half that price. This is a significant reduction on the initial price which came in at around £30+ for each game. Considering that ME2 was released over 5 years ago and ME3 was released nearly 3 years ago it is frankly insulting that DLC is still priced at the same level it was when it released. Given that the base product has been discounted to reflect the depreciation in commercial value over time, logic dictates that the add-on content should have been reduced in a similar manner. This is especially relevant given that some of the content was shamelessly ripped out of the initial product for separate sale(Kasumi being one example).

Bioware and EA insist on tethering the DLC to the ridiculous Bioware points system instead of just asking for a cash value, thinking that PC gamers are stupid enough not to realise that they are being ripped off at this point in the products' life. We are real gamers not the casual types who suckle at the teat of games like Farmville and CandyCrush. Given that ME4 is now in the pipeline it would be a welcome show of goodwill to the PC community as interest in the saga is bound to rise again and it would form an excellent money making and positive PR opportunity.

As such, I believe that the entire ME trilogy's collection of DLC should be made available for download through Origin/Steam at an up-to-date monetary value, which reflects the current retail price for the base products. It isn't that difficult and it makes good business sense to do so. By this point thousands of gamers have resorted to pirating the DLC due to the out of date pricing strategy. I am willing to purchase the add-on content but only at a reasonable price.
