So, i was pretty disappointed with the fact Leliana is the ONLY advisor to not be romanceable in the game. Not even a pseudo-romance like Scout Harding (which should have been a full one because come on, she's the best looking Dwarf ever). Which, leads me to think that she is the canon romance for the Warden-Commander, not Morrigan or any of the other options.
So, it'd be pretty cool if Bioware could somehow implement, in a patch or it's own add on pack her as a option.
Cassandra and Josephine are alright, but there's not a lot from their characters that makes me feel a connection to them.
Leliana also improved greatly as a character from her Origins appearance (I dunno, she acts so naive and childish that I can never bring myself to complete the romance. Morrigan may be cold hearted shrew but she seems to show more affection to the Warden in her own, special way.)
ANYWAY
They could make it a more difficult to obtain romance for the Inquisitor.
Add in a few more personal quests for her, like offering to track down that traitor early on while still in Haven, helping her honor the Divine's memory with her own memorial in the ruins of Lothering, then of course her already in game personal quest. Along with more dialogue and flirt options.
She'd only be an option if:
-She didn't romance an Origins PC, whether they died killing the Archdemon or lived
-Choosing the right dialogue during her personal quests, and conversations (supporting her religious beliefs, or sharing them)
-Certain main storyline decisions (freeing the Mages, conscripting the Wardens, yes, imprisoning Mages, exiling Wardens, no.)
It's obvious it won't happen, but the romances in Inquisition, for a straight male Inquisitor are EXTREMELY limited.
But i'm not going to go in detail about that because who wants SJW's on their back over something that isn't even real.

Its not going to happen. If the writers had wanted her to be romance they would have already done it. Leliana has another path ahead of her.
I just realized you are the same guy who has had posts locked. You obviously created another account. Nice try

Leliana does not strike me as a person who is open to romance in this time of her life. She can even say that the HoF is the only person she trust entirely if I remember correctly. She is a hardened person when she mets the Inquisitor and while she might smile once in a while, she is not an open person. To be the orlesian spymaster who has earned her place as a hand of the Divine, she has had to hide any weakness she might display and detach herself emotionally from many things even people, her own people in case she might need to kill them for a reason.
In Origins, she could be hardened but the HoF encounters her when she is not and has a chance of getting to know her before that potentially happens. She has a chance of coming to trust and befriend the Warden even love them before that occurs.

They're not going to make a past romance a romance again. It would be a complete waste of time and effort that would be better spent somewhere else.
If she romanced the HoF she is taken and loyal, if she didn't she isn't interested in romance anymore.

Getting Leliana to cheat on the warden with the inquisitor would be pretty funny (out of character but funny).
But seriously no, I think it would be strange. The thing I enjoy most about the romances is getting to know the character, I already know Leliana but my inquisitor doesn't so it would be really weird.

Morrigan comes back in Inquisition and she is not a romance option either. Even if the HoF didn't romance her she isn't interested in a romance either.
Essentially this is a no go and really why would we want her a romance option again? She had her time, it's now time for other characters to get their due.

That's cause they didn't want to ruin their own bedroll.
It's been ten game-years since we've seen the Warden, I'm sure she's scrounged up the money for a more durable one by now. ![]()

ACTUALLY this is the only forum account ive ever made so, there's that.
I don't think the female romance options are ugly, but theres only two for male inquisitors. Thats my point.
I'd romance her in Origins if that was the way i wanted to play it tbh but this is just an open option.

but really though that wasn't even me
I don't think they're ugly at all, it just bothers me they talked about how many more options there were and theres still only two females for a mal inquisitor.
You can keep saying "same guy" over and over but the fact is, I don't even know who you're talking about

Two is the same amount that you had in both of the previous games. You have always had two options and you still have two options. Not seeing the problem here.
Plus, as others have stated, making Leliana a romance option is a waste of time because she's already been one. People who are interested in romancing her can just go play DA: O. What will the romance in DA: I add? Not enough that you can't get via her romance in DA: O. It's a retread of the same content that they've already done with this same character.
And, finally, they've already stated that there will be no companions or romances added via DLC, so it's all a moo point. Like a cow's opinion......

What is it with people acting like straight male Inquisitors have less options than anyone else anyway? There are two options.
How many do gay male Inquisitors have? You guessed it. Two.
How many do lesbian female Inquisitors have? Blam. Two. Not to mention this improbable, hypothetical Leliana romance 2.0 would go into this pile too, and leave gay male Inquisitors actually having less options than anyone else.
Straight female Inquisitors (and only elven/human ones) are the only ones out of balance here, and the two that throw it out of balance were added on late in development. But...is that so unbearable or something? To not have the most romances? Even when there are others with the same amount? Seriously.

I mean, not really
its just wishful thinking that they could have stepped outside the companion box and put in more romances not tied to people you took into battle with you.
Besides the pseudo Scout Harding romance of course, since that almost counts until you start one with someone else.
That's my main thing, it's not game breaking, it's just something that maybe they can work on for the next game whenever it comes, since it's usually one of the most talked about parts of the game. And most criticised. I don't hate the available options, (Josephine is the best but thats neither here nor there).
the whole Leliana thing is just preferring how she is in DAI over DAO. Didn't think i'd have to go this deep with an explanation but forgot for a second that this was the internet.
