Well given Miami's history of players it doesn't surprise me.

So Chip Kelly ... trades away arguably the better running back to Buffalo for a good but injury-risk LB, because he doesn't want to pay his high price tag.
He then signs another RB for almost the same price, after already signing another RB for around $5 million. This is after he lets his team's top receiving threat depart and after trading his QB and picks for ... a former first-round pick QB who is inching dangerously close to bust status and is made of glass and brings a big cap hit with him.
Genius moves there, Chips Ahoy. Sad to see DeMarco go, but he's not an $8 million plus RB.

I sense maybe the Eagles are a hated rival of yours? Bradford has just one year left so the contract is not that bad, yes his body has taken a pounding but I still think there is a chance he can be a good quarterback. Foles is overrated from playing in that offence, he probably is just be an above average quarterback (we will see with him in a different situation), if I was an Eagles fan I wouldn't be shedding tears at his loss. Anyway, I like that Chip Kelly is clearly not afraid of public opinion.

Eagles legend Chuck Bednarik (Hall of Fame class of '67) passed away at age 89. Bednarik played his entire 14 year career with the Eagles, and was one of the last of the great 60-minute men, playing both offense and defense. Bednarik was known for a vicious hit he delivered on Giants running back Frank Gifford in 1960; the hit was so severe that Gifford missed the rest of the '60 and '61 seasons. Bednarik also delivered the game saving tackle on Packers running back Jim Taylor in the 1960 NFL Championship Game, the last Eagles title and the only postseason loss for Lombardi's Packers.

Another rule approved by the NFL
http://espn.go.com/n...al-substitution
This is why I like American sports. They don't mess around, it something doesn't work well, they fix it.
In 'our football', that thing you call soccer, we're still debating whether we should get video referees or not. I think the last significant rule change was like 10 years ago, or even longer.
While that game is in desperate need of rule changes... and video ref.

I won't argue with the thought that football is behind the times and resistant to change (sort of like MLB in that regard), but American sports--especially the NFL--change and create so many different rules that the actual rulebooks are thicker than War and Peace and more convoluted and puzzling than a Sarah Palin speech. It's no wonder referees have so many problems calling the game on the field. That's probably one of the many reasons why the NFL's use of replacement refs in 2012 was such a disastrous failure.

I don't like the No Fun League and how they continue to go down the path of feminizing football. I could care less.
But......Go Bronco's tho. Chiefs suck nut. Raiders are..... Well, they're the Raiders and no one, other than white trash bikers or mexicants, like them.
Go Bronco's!!!

well it actually happened, Tebow signed with the Eagles, and since he's on a team with 2 guys no one's ever heard of, Glass Man and The Butt Fumbler he'll probably end up as their starter......or the Eagles will send all those quarterbacks to the Browns for their pick and use it on Mariota ![]()

Good thing it was a short visit, as I would be concerned about Bill Belichick being a bad influence if it were a long one.

The president was presented with an autographed Patriots helmet and a jersey with OBAMA 44 on it. He was also presented with a Patriots football, one can safely assume it was properly inflated.
Tom Brady was not in attendance due to a family commitment.

The Eagles-my home team-have picked up Tim Tebow.
He can't throw, so the hope is that he will help keep the turnover rate down this year.

yay its draft day
here is my dream scenario - the Buccaneers trade the 1st pick to the Jags for Blake Bortles and fueled by him, 20 TDs by their 2nd round pick Ameer Abdullah and a combined 35 TDs by Mike Evans and Austin Seferian-Jenkins they make it all the way to february where they play Derek Carr, Adrian Peterson, Amari Cooper and the Raiders in the PirateBrawl
