So f...ing what.
The game's only been out for 3 months and a half.
I... I'm not even sure if it's humanly possible to reach 1000 hours within that time.
Assuming that you got the game on October 14th as part of the early crowd and kept it running, you'd be at 2928 hours as of today? ![]()

Did you just calculate that right now? ![]()

Didn't anyone else crunch the numbers... for science?

OP, you need some sunlight.
OP, you need some sunlight.

My first (and only so far) run took 308 hours, but a fair amount of that was spent screenshot hunting. Still, I'm a slow player and it was my completionist run (as completionist as I was prepared to go anyway - I only got 2 full mosaics, I didn't get all the creature damage bonuses (why would anyone bother?), and I missed 1 journal entry from the dwarf in the Hissing Wastes, and had an outstanding requisition - oh, I think I was missing a couple of bottles of wine too, but seriously I don't care enough). If you took out all the screenshotting, I'd have probably been at around 200-220 hours. I started playing on release day (UK) and finished about a week ago.
I probably could use some sunlight, but you're not going to get that in winter in Ohio anyway. What can I say? I'm stuck in bed most of the time, & I don't watch much TV. I am also OCD about collecting every single plant or mineral ore I pass, which I think they did on purpose just for people like me (dammit!) I think this is also the only game I've played since DAI came out as well. Ok, maybe I'm starting to feel a little sorry for my wife now...
I've started my second playthrough. Only a hundred and fifteen hours in so far, and I am going to try to make this a faster playthrough. In the old days, you had to crisscross every inch of ground or you could miss something. Maybe it's because I like to explore every inch of the map. I expected that the more you completed, the bigger your bonus would be and the more it would affect the ending. Obviously, I was wrong about that.
How could you possibly make a 100-150 hour completionist playthrough last 10 times that long?? Did you just leave it running for days? Or have you actually been playing for *calculates* 14 hours every day??
I know my game time was inflated because of the xbox one not completely shutting down when you try to turn it off. It was still running and still racking up game time.
I didn't get all the creature damage bonuses (why would anyone bother?)
Role playing? Making sure the Inquisition has all available research on red lyrium, or darkspawn, or draconic species?
