ok after you finish the story there is a map located in the war room. when you enter this new game asks you to pick a level from 1 to 10. the higher the level the harder the enemies. you pick your party and it takes you to a randomly generated map. It could be anything forest, snow landscape, maybe have some poi's and some random dungeons or caves. you fight through enemies searching through the map until you come to a boss. when you defeat the boss you get a chest that might contain a schematic for a special armor or weapon something exotic. The map may also have different materials to collect to expand on crafting. Maybe some maps have a random dragon boss or another type of monster to fight at the end. The higher scale you choose to play the greater the reward. something like this could not only keep you playing, but coming back after a break to play some more. It gives incentive to grind a little to achieve a higher status. Not to mention some really cool looking armor. It will probably never happen, but I would like it.
my idea for end game content

Well it sounds like d3 and it keeps people coming back, I mean I don't even want to finish my first play through on this game because its just so boring to me. At first it was great, the combat, the exploration and the crafting had me hooked, but after a certain point its just not there anymore. And I thought that it had somewhat good playablity because all the items you find are random, but if you play 2 or 3 times it winds up being the same boring game after you clear the maps.

I believe they rushed the game out the door, I mean there are so many bugs that still months later are not fixed. The logic behind rushing it out, simple. The witcher 3 if its anything like the witcher2 "and Im sure it will be better" is going to dominate the scene in 2015.

A game being delayed over a year with only minor bugs considering the size of the game world is rushing it?
