It is good thing that you have read what i have said  ;)

"especially ones that boil to your insisting that "mages = always chaotic evil""

And my "People have serious issues on this forum as in conversation with me about mages always claim that i claim mages are chaotic evil or something despite i made it clear i don't even involve morality here" and pretty much rest of this argument

It was a challenge, but I persevered to at least try to understand your point?

I think most of the reason people tend to have that reaction is because you tend to describe mages as being akin to inanimate weapons and not people who can think for themselves? If you want a discussion about nuclear weapons and knife or gun control that's fine, but these are people with free will you're talking about, not weapons.

Sure, they can have the same degree of destructive force as weapons, but that's not the point, anyone can with the right tools and equipment? Sandal's not a mage (at least we don't think) and he has set Bodahn's house of fire twice, Dworkin loves explosive mixtures and Qunari have cut a swathe through Thedas in the past with very little reliance on magical firepower, instead using chemical warfare, explosives and technology such as cannons? Plus, Varric has the potential to be the most dangerous man on the battlefield when he's using Bianca?

It's not magic that's the problem. It's people who cause the problems and some of them just happen to have magic.

They are threat not only for society but also whole world and no discussion about danger isn't discussion about morality thus claming that i claim that mages are "always chaotic evil" despite i didn't discussed morality but danger makes it statement incorrect and from nowhere and probably put there just to make me look bad because "TKS claims all mages are evil by fact they are mages and by that he is ridiculous".

Also those thing don't exist in thedas at least yeat and notice that any of this things is pretty much controlled by goverments to the point you can't even lick it , more dangerous thing more secured and inaccessible it is.Also good luck with thinking that goverments would treat nuclear walking bombs as normal citizen because they are people their fate would be poor with pretty much any goverment.

Yes it is magic in every case without magic causing disaster would be impossible all you need to do is look at magisters that went to the black city if they weren't mages they wouldn't be able go there in first place and create darkspawn and that just one of many disasters sponsored by mages.

In fact i can even post disasters caused by mages just to make point how without being mage it would be impossible for such individual cause it.

But don't you see how saying that Mages are like mindless beasts like Darkspawn, would lead people to think that you believe that they are inhuman monsters who need to be put down? It's not about morality, you've said that Darkspawn are as bad as Mages on numerous occasions in this thread?

You're repeatedly said that they are dangerous and need to be locked away because of their magic, following the reasoning that they are uncontrollable and unable to function within normal society without causing havoc? Which isn't true at all, since we've seen that there are mages who have done absolutely nothing bad with freedom and have been completely fine in normal society?

Take Malcolm Hawke for example. After fleeing the Circle, he never did anything except for raising a family and get married? As far as I'm aware, Lothering never blew up and he never went berserk and killed anyone in all the years he was there? Hardly a public menace, eh?

You know if the Geth were more like the Darkspawn, as in being a walking blight on Thedas that's mere presence destroys and corrupts everything they touch, then maybe I would agreed with some of Starbrat's insane logic, but as is the Geth and Legion are totally fine by my book while the Architect and his barely controllable Darkspawn need to be exterminated.

I'm siding with the Darkspawn. The humans created them (Tevinter magisters), but every time they try to come to the surface and live their lives, the humans and other surface species slaughter them. Filthy Quari- I mean, surface-dwellers.

Eee no?

Because they are and it isn't morality nor i said mages are mindless beasts i said they are as destructive and dangerous as darkspawn in fact darkspawn are mages creation thus in my opinion both need to be put down.

Again no because we deal with mages **** over and over again more than once in single games and da products sure there are few mages like malcolm hawke that freedom didn't backfire still doesn't make mages any less unstable nuclear bombs. And in my book comfort of few individuals that won't cause magical disaster isn't worth the death of hundreds or thousands in every incidents sponsored by mages not mention about damage to society.
