If you clicked past the NDA and successfully joined the PC Patch 5 Beta program, you can now DL the beta and access the forum.

Probably wanted just a few people and the faster they get the beta out, the faster we get it. So really, you should be glad it was a short time to get in. It could also mean they realize that they don't need a whole lot of beta testing. Just wanted to make sure things worked on other PCs lest they end up with another banter situation where they couldn't find an issue, but we could.

The armor tint feature will rectify one of the most asinine issues with the game: tying stats to appearance was a boneheaded decision for a game released in 2014. Thank the Maker they've gone in to correct this.

They're making it optional, which is the best of both worlds.

I like having stats tied to appearance.

I logged in to the keep and saw the chance, thing is I have never took part in a beta before so I went off and tried to find out a bit about it, went back and it was closed. I have the time but wouldn't partake it unless I knew fully what I was doing.

 

It remains to be seen how this patch is delivered.

Has there been an estimated time for the release of Patch 5 (PS4)? I do not want to continue with the story until the extra storage is implemented, because I have been destroying so many things lately due to lack of storage.

No, the patch will be released to all platforms, but they're taking testers who play on PC so they don't have to deal with Sony/Microsoft certification procedures multiple times.

All I can say, because we are under an NDA (Non Disclosure Agreement) is that the patch is looking good - it's got me smiling and enjoying the game. I do play KB+M but, it will be good for consoles too.

it was decent before but not so much to smile about. a lot of things are going to be better.

This is my situation too, knowing I can fix so many problems I've had, including storage(I've been putting as much onto characters as possible), has killed my interest in playing the current version of the game. Hopefully it won't be long.

Only thing I really look forward in beta is adjustable subtitles. I just hope Bioware would do something about crashes, I don't know how many my PS3 can take but I have approximately 1 crash in every 5 hour of play. Thank god, no corrupted saves yet.
