I really hope this patch fixes some of the smaller yet very annoying bugs as well.

Such as the missing mosaic piece in Hinterlands or the Archdemon mosaic missing a piece on the wall even after you've collected all the pieces.

Also deathroot seeds seem to be impossible to obtain and I never got my Inquisiton Banner Crown after capturing all 3 keeps.

These might be small things but they're still annoying stuff that need to be fixed.

Don't forget Crystal Grace seeds....they're directly not obtainable.

And the infamous "Quarry Quandary" bug. And bleed target status effect not working at all (according to wikia). And tons of markers staying forever in your maps (the specialization trainers you haven't selected in Skyhold, the woman you've to give his lover's card in Josephine's quest (Val Royeaux) if you skip her (another quest bug btw).

...I could understand that a game could have crashes, or freezes or whatever, especially on PC, where there may be billions of possible hardware/software combinations. But not running every quest with every possibility and outcome, not checking out every collectible, or every stat or ability is just a complete lack of professionalism. And it's not like some of the bugs are obscure precisely.

If I were in charge of the betatesters, I'd at least have a very serious word with them. At least.

QA testers often do find all those bugs. But they're not in charge of deciding which ones get fixed.

... I hope that somebody that signed up is a bit zealous about it, and reports every little annoying issue he finds....and I also hope Bioware listens.

We are, and they do :)

More like pictures, videos and explanations en masse  ;)  I can honestly say that I'm enjoying the beta-version more than the normal, it's not perfect, but it's definitely better B)

Up 5 posts from this one I've posted some issues I find extremely annoying. Let me know if you want details about them :)

I'd also love to know if all the bonuses from the Masterwork materials are the right ones and are free of bugs. Some people say the Fade-Touched Volcanic Aurum (Focus) is bugged somehow, and that it should be the upgraded version of Bloodstone/Pyrophite (7.5% extra damage for each enemy within 8 meters....so the Aurum should be 10% or so). People spend tons of time farming them...I think they're worth an in-depth check.

I'd rather not comment/ask what with the NDA. But I can say that even if the patch doesn't deliver what many fans want, it's still a patch worth waiting for :)

No matter how much the Devs do and give us, they, and by association, we beta testers, will never manage to please 100% of you 100% of the time but, we are making the game better and, if this beta works out well, it probably won't be the last one we do for DAI. That means more things in the future with input form real players that play the game because we WANT to play the game. It's a good thing. :)

Probably nothing. NDAs are standard for closed betas and would YOU want to suffer fallout should something be in beta, everyone hears, then it is broken and can't be released with patch 5?

Not hiding things but, what if I were to tell you that XYZ super fantastic this or that had been done then it bugged out and the devs couldn't get it repaired in time for release? You'd a lot more disappointed and upset than if you had never known about super fantastic XYZ this or that. It's assumed that we testers understand that and, can deal with it and keep our mouths shut if that happens. The NDA is to remind us to do just that - as Cassie says Deal - With - It.

There'll be leaks anyway. Like with the DA Keep. Calm your ****** :P

While I did enjoy the DA keep leak (seeing as that was my first look at the keep) that person got banned promptly enough and there were no more leaks after that.

No-one is going to be stupid enough to leak the patch beta.

If an auto attack feature is being implemented as rumored, someone should suggest that bioware should add an attack override toggle to spells like spirit blade and dragon rage, otherwise reavers and KEs would still be button mashing.

Might I make a suggestion to the devs here. If you're planning any combat/story to be released wether in patch 5 or the future, how about implementing a level cap at 24 or 25. Some of us enjoy the combat so much that we do everything in each play through. However, this means that we begin to dramatically over level encounters in the late game.

Implementing a level cap along with encounters that are designed for after the main quest would allow completionists like me to remain challenged without hindering normal folks who only hit level 19 or so. These end game encounters can be designed to scale from lvl 19 to 25.

Also, more dragon fights please. Dragon fights rock!

Also, tier 1 dual-bladed daggers would be awesome. I realize that the hitbox issues that make using normal daggers a bit of a pain likely can't be fixed with a patch. So giving rogues acess to AoE-daggers sooner would be an awesome compromise.

No, just no. All that will do is give modders another thing to mod back out of the game. Now more scaling enemies would be good, but not mandatory ones. Some players prefer to work their way into God Mode in a vanilla game.

Personally I don't want to be over leveled but, let's leave the cap alone and find another way to make the game more interesting at higher levels shall we?

Also, if you could speed up the animation of Mighty Blow a tad I'd greatly appreciate it. As it is currently, the opportunity cost of using Mighty blow is too high. My Reaver could Dragon Rage three times instead.

Also, effective use of mighty blow involves catching enemies when they're knocked down. The long windup time of the skill makes it excessively difficult to do so.

This is especially true since mighty blow targets an area instead of an enemy. Whiffing because the target moved away during the looooong windup is a bit annoying.

This probably isn't the best place to list all of your suggestions for the Devs, especially since most of them seem to be things you want rather than things that need to be fixed.

I mean, there aren't even any devs in here and I think the beta testers have enough to go over without adding more things that aren't patch related?

I don't expect beta testers to bother with my wishlist.  But if a stray dev were to wander in, I'd like there to be more for them to read than conspiracy theories regarding the NDA.

Totally agree. Don't limit character progression. That would be a game killer.

So if this patch really sucks and is super buggy can I blame the beta testers? :)
