Not missing this wave of beta testing. I will never be responsible with my work day again. :D

Oh hello there Mr. Bull, about to smash your team members to pieces with Mighty Blow? Well could you wait until Solas has finished killing us all with chain lightning? Thank you.

My favorite was watching Solas unfreeze enemies that I just finished freezing to allow the tanks a breather. My other favorite was Iron Bull and Blackwall unable to figure out that fire is bad... very bad.

Awesome news they're continuing this.

Decided against joining this roundup  as I'm not sure that I'd play enough and someone else would be better off taking my potential spot (if even selected of course)

Thank you, it does require a bit of a time commitment to beta test. If you can't promise that, then not testing is best.

Yaaaaaaaaaaaaaay I actually got to sign up!

Does this mean that they want to start testing Patch 6 sooner rather than later? Or are we going to be waiting until they release Patch 5 for everyone? (I don't yet have access to the beta forums, which would probably answer this question.)

Grrrrrrr.

I'm guessing new more hair styles is coming soon, but not in a free patch.

Cosmetic stuff like new clothing and hair styles is perfect to sell as DLC.

I'm guessing that, too. Does it mean that Patch 5 release is inminent? That'd be amaaaaazing :D

Anyway, on a serious note, I think I'll stay out of the beta. I have little confidence on betatesting and I'm itching to enjoy a good Nightmare playthough.

I have a strange thing about doing dev's works for them without pay.

THEY SHOULD DO IT THEMSELVES.

But if they do it themselves people will complain that they aren't listening to the fanbase.

Edit: also some companies make you pay to play test content these days.

It's hard for the devs to test every scenario on every hardware configuration. By throwing it at some of us, it maximises the chances that problems will be detected early and can be corrected. Frankly, I'd much rather developers did external betas than didn't. If the devs of Battlefield 4, Watch_Dogs, Assassin's Creed Unity, Halo MCC, and Drive Club had bothered to beta, 2014 might not have been the AAA debacle it was.

Ya pretty much the reason why they had two Open beta events for Battlefield: Hardline, gives them a chance to test on a number of differently built systems and test game mechanics before the game is released.

I don't completely disagree, but if I have to choose between community patches and leaving the game as a bugged wreck....I prefer community patches :P

But nobody could blame me when I say that they should fire their betatest team ipso-facto. And no, don't come to me with the "ahhh, millions of configurations" excuse: one thing are PC technical problems, and another very different are purely gameplay bugs, like a quest not completing because you've been able to judge a character before completing it.

It's the weekend so, likely the person/people that grant the entitlement and access aren't in until Monday. Don't worry, you aren't missing out on testing.

I'd say that until Patch 5 is released, no one that entered this new beta will be missing any testing day...

That said, the new beta signup gives me hope of an inminent Patch 5 release. I doubt they're gonna let the new testers to cool down their enthusiasm and commitment for a long time (and if they do, then very badly done, Bioware). Still, I'm optimistic about a first half of this month' release.

Nah, I expect we will be testing 6 while they make changes to 5, then maybe go back to 5 to see that it's right before release, or they may simply call it good and release it soon but, I think either way we will be working on 6 first.

If they're starting beta for 6, that would imply that 5 is at least in wrap-up. Perhaps going with cert right now. ETA of one or two weeks?

Doing so is just begging for screw-ups. I hope you're wrong, and that they do it in the adequate order, as I said.

Elfyoth - Only the beta testers know and they cant talk about , NDA and all , im hoping they fix that too and i really wish they add face codes , but we can only hope and wait for the patch to know for sure.

I hope you are right. It'd suck that finally when they are talking about patching one of major problems in old gen they wouldn't do it just cause betatesters don't need it ^^;

dw, they still have console testers. Plus unless the option causes bugs, it won't be removed- waste of time :P
